Nokia 6300
Advantages: Looks great, easy to use, nice big screen, usual Nokia features
Disadvantages: None so far...!
...Ok, firstly I admit I am a dedicated Nokia fan. But that doesn't cloud my judgement - at Christmas I tried the Nokia N73, but found this a bit too big and bulky and found some of the keys a bit uncomfortable to use. My previous models have been the 6230 & 6230i. I tried out a Samsung E900 last month, but couldn't adapt to that and vowed to stick to my faithful Nokia's...
So...I have been waiting for weeks to get my hands on the Nokia 6300. Finally receiving it as a free upgrade from Orange last week, I am not disappointed. Even on a £25 a month tariff, this phone was free, which isn't the case with all networks. If you're considering Orange, it's worth checking out their online tariffs as these tend to be better than instore or on the phone...
The Nokia 6300 looks fantastic. Most of the casing is stainless steel and there is...

Nokia 6300 White
Advantages: Sylish, Light, Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Camera/Video use a lot of battery
...Nokia 6300 White
I had one of these phones bought me for Christmas by my other half, I specifically wanted a Nokia, as they are easy to use and the customer service they offer is brilliant.
All the ones I have had previously have been very reliable and also very strong and robust compared to some modern mobile phones.
Features
It has lots of features including...
Bluetooth
Tri-band
WAP
GPRS
Music Player
Radio
Colour Screen
Camera Phone
Voice Dialling
Picture Messaging
Vibrating Alerts
Polyphonic Ring tones
It's a small compact phone the measurements are 107 x 44 x 13 millimetres and it weights only 91grams, the display size is 240 x 320 pixels.
Camera
I use the camera quite a bit it is a 2 mega pixel camera, images aren't brilliant but they are better that my old Nokia, I has features such as...

The Nokia 6300
Advantages: Light weight, and very easy to use
Disadvantages: Poor battery life and voice dialing
...The Nokia 6300, a classic beautifully finished sleek stainless steel design. This phone is both slim and elegant, is easy to use as Nokias normally are. It comes with a built in MP3 player, expandable memory, a reasonable quality 2 megapixel camera and other great features.
This phone does not have 3g and is not a smartphone, it is a nice sized phone, slim at only 11.7mm thick and weighs in at 91g. The screen is a 2 inch tft 240 x 320 pixel display with about 16.5 million colours. The key pad is a decent size and has a 5 way navigation button, unless you have fat fingers then the key pad can be quite tricky, as you tend to press two numbers at once.
It has a mp3 player and an FM radio feature. For radio use you have to hook upto external speakers or headphones to use. If you like your music then you need to expand...

Nokia 6300
Advantages: Slim and sleek, easy to use
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...I got my new Nokia 6300 just over a month ago so I feel its enough time of using it to write a review.
I had been due an upgrade of my phone but hadn't really seen anything I fancied until I saw someone who had this phone and I really like the design of it. I've had Nokia's for years (my last one was the 6230i) and so am able to find my way around them. I rang Vodafone and they said I could have it free on upgrade and so I jumped at it.
**The design **
I think the phone looks really slick. The dimensions are aprx 10.5cm x 4.5cm x 1.5cm. The screen is 4.5cm x 3.5cm. The top part of the phone (3/4 of it) is black which has the screen in it and 5 keys to make call and access the menu. The number keys at the bottom are silver and flat.
It was easy to put the sim and battery in, and the back cover came off much easier than...

Nokia 6300-A Classic
Advantages: Very slick, easy to use
Disadvantages: Finish gets grubby
...My Motorola K1 recently gave up the ghost, and as I'm on Pay-As-You-Go, I had to go and buy a new phone. I shopped around, and found that the Vodaphone store was doing the Nokia 6300 for £80, which was quite reasonable.
The phone is very slick looking, with it's aluminium and black lacquer finish. There is a slight downside to the black lacquer, and that is that it gets mucky quite easily, but is easily cleaned with a cloth.
The screen is large and bright, and the buttons are all well lit apart from the central select/arrow keys bit. But that is nicely raised, so you can feel it in the dark.
The menu system is wonderful after the clunky old Motorola one, very easy to navigate and it looks good too.
The phone's features are also good for the price, as it is quite small yet holds a 2 Megapixel camera, music player, memory...

Nokia 6300 silver black
Advantages: radio, 2mp camera, mp3 player,
Disadvantages: no flash on camera, not a lot of internal memory
...I recently got the nokia 6300 silver black as an upgrade from o2 at the carphone warehouse. So far there have been no problems, and it is very easy to get used to using.
***memory***
If your phone does not come with a memory card, I would definitely recommend buying one, as the internal memory in the phone is very poor, especially if you intend to use the phone for music and high quality photos. The memory card (microSD) is very easy to insert and remove from the phone, but is locked securely under the back cover, so there is no worry about it falling out.
***radio***
unlike any of the mobile phones that I have previously owned, the nokia 6300 has a radio. This feature allows up to 20 stations to be programmed into the memory of the phone, so that you can quickly swap between a selection of your favourite stations. Either...

Nokia 6300
Advantages: Good design, easy to use, slim
Disadvantages: slippery body, battery talktime and standby time is poor
...I think i had used at least 5 differnt nokia phones. nokia have a pretty solid quality to all of their phones. This one is no exception, great sound and image quality, but one thing is slight on the negative side is the battery time. The talk time and the standby time is not as long as the others. Overview, it's a great phone, stylish and slim.
The camera is 2 MP but gives a clear image as compared to other 2MP camera phone. The sound quality is good when the mobile is new, but as I used this mobile, there was a fall in the sound quality. The size is good though but the body is slippery. It slips down from the hand very easily hence gives scratches to body. But overall the mobile is easy to use and I can recommend people to buy this phone. Which is not too expensive as compare to its features, and looks....

Nokia 6300
Advantages: Slim design
Disadvantages: Not aimed at anyone. Battery life
...I've had this phone for almost half a year and I am already bored. Its a good phone but ive had older phones which are better then this one. Many people say its heavy but in my opinion I think it is quite light . You can get it in three colours (Black, Silver or Red- according to nokia website) but i think there are other colours available.
Its small but the keyboard is the right size and not too small.
I have no problem creating texts or dialling numbers. It can get really cold since its made of steel but that's not really a problem for me.
The screen has a high quality and the speed of the phone is average. The internet may take up to 2 minutes to load a page, which is annoying.
The camera is satisfactory and the more zoom the blurrier the picture gets but otherwise it can be pretty impressive.
The memory is very poor and but i...

nokia 6300 silver black
Advantages: nice look
Disadvantages: not many
...i recently got this phone as part of a contract, firstly the phone has a nice look to, and a large, bright display which is about twice as big as the keypad, meaning the phone is nicely proportioned i think, the joystick is square with chrome surround meaning navigation through phones folders is very easy on the thumb, allowing easy use, the phone is quick meaning scroll through and track selection is very simple, and simplisity of use is one of the phones strongest selling points while sum manufacturers are making phones smaller and more fildly this phone is compact but simple to use, that is not to suggest that it is not packed with all the features you expect of a new nokia, mp3 player, headphone socket, in package headphones, cd for transering data songs onto phone, but it does not include a USB wire, these are cheap enough though...

Sleek 6300
Advantages: Sleek design, music player, texting
Disadvantages: Camera, battery life.
...The Nokia 6300 really is an underestimated phone. I hadn't heard anything about it (being a loyal Samsung fan) until O2 gave me a good deal on a contract with this phone. I was a bit sceptical at first- my last nokia was back in the day when there were no colour screens! However, as soon as I opened the box- I was pleased.
For a Nokia phone, it is extremly thin & robust, yet it still manages to look elegant. Nokia phones are often renowned for being bulky with good features- well this has both!
The menu is easy to use & can be seen even in strong sunlight. The screen is very bright & clear & the screen is an impressive size. You have messaging, phonebook, bluetooth & calender all easily accessable by clicking the arrow buttons for ease of use.
The music player is a hidden extra. It has a really good sound & there is an option...
