...£80 upgrade cost per year , a pound a month international calling, 30 text bundle a month all for £4 a month extra Unfortunately this has now ceased to exist this month but my benefits will go on for free for another 6 months. (the down side of this package was that orange staff had never heard of it so the shop was unwilling to upgrade me ......however bullying from someone at orange sorted the shop out) The point of my telling you about this is that there are offers out there so look for them. Iam on a package that cost about £17 and allows me 60 mins of calls a month and i have a 60 text bolt on too as i find that i text far more and this suits me well. One advantage of having a higher talk plan is that upgrades are usually free for those paying a fee of £25 and above , ...a good tip is that you can change your package...

Orange network in general

Advantages: Great contracts on offer, good reception, good service
Disadvantages: Not consistent waiting times when phoning cust services - can wait a while at peak times

...contracts can be found online but should you find a contract online which you believe suits your needs I recommend phoning Orange first before buying it as I did the same and they managed to get me a large discount off what was already a contract on offer online and saved me an extra £10.00 a month, so its always worth a try. Through the Orange shop they also have a wide range of phones on offer from many different manufacturers. They have the latest models as well as cheaper ones. With a contract you generally get a phone free though for the top of the range phones you may have to pay a premium towards this phone, depending on the price of the contract you are buying. The Orange website is great to browse around too. As well as your account info and the Orange shop they also have all the latest news, sports, weather, entertainment news...

...After being leered into an 18month contract with a FREE PS3 I was utterly disappointed to find that not only did I continuously lose signal when roaming the UK but also, I was given 3 faulty phones by Orange themselves. This was the 1st inconvenience caused as I live an hour away from any Orange Store. I had contacted Orange customer services several times and received very little help if any! They were slow at getting back to me about my issues raised and told me on one occasion that I would have to phone the helpline up instead of sending an emailing. I was more than happy to do this but spent over an hour on the phone on hold, running up a huge bill which they never apologised for. That aside, I do think Orange is the best mobile phone provider I have ever been with, although, having said that, I have just left 3 mobile who didn't particularly 'set the bar' if you know what I mean. After a bad experience with them, I had been looking to leave contracts permanently. I had tried PAYG, however, found it was a little expensive for my usage. I then saw T mobile were advertising pay monthly SIM only tariffs at the back of my Heat magazing and decided to give them a call. Pay monthly contracts, as the name suggests, only last for a month, with a 30 day cancellation period and automatic rollover, so you are not tied into a lengthy contract. ...Kids today will probably think of Tango as a poor man's Fanta. I remember a time when it ruled supreme, with adverts of men in orange body suits going round slapping people.
