...I have been using a previous Oregon Scientific projection clock for the past couple of years, and I have been very pleased with it. I decided to get this model because one of the main points is that the projection is strong enough to be seen in daylight. Even on a really bright day, it is still possible to see the time on the ceiling or wall, unlike previous models. As with previous models, it has the radio controlled time feature, meaning that it is always up to date, and requires no manual changes. Although it is possible to turn the radio signal receiver off, and do it manually. This may have to be done if you are using it in an area of weak or no signal. Advantages: Display is free to watch, the clock tower itself is beautifully designed
Disadvantages: The display is not as impressive as I thought it would be

...The benefits of this alarm clock I personally believe will vary from person to person. It basically is an alarm clock doubled up with a bedside lamp. The main feature of this device is it will switch its lamp on 30 mins before the alarm goes off and slowly glow to full brightness. Have patience with clock patience

...Clock Patience is not the best of games of patience. In fact it is just a game of chance. It takes up a lot of table or floor space and not a lot of brain power. I am sure it is a valid game to play occasionally. The rules of the game are very simple. First you make 13 piles of 4 cards each face down. The cards are placed in a circle with each pile on a poition of the numbers on a clock. The thirteenth pile is placed in the centre of the 'clock'. When the cards are all in place pick a card from the pile in the center. when you have looked at the number on it you place it in the apropriate place on the clock and remove a card from that pile. As with the previous card you put it in the apropriate place on the circle. Each place around the clock face will keep 4 cards. The idea is to be left with a pile of 4 cards...

...My Experience? I've had the Oregon Scientific digital camera for around 2 years now, and overall I have been disappointed. However I have a little relief in the fact that I paid very little for it through a TV bidding channel, Bid-up TV, I recall that it was about £100 along with an array of free image editing and gallery software. Ever since I received the camera it has gone down hill consistently. I know others have had good experiences with this camera, so it would appear to be on an individual basis, but do take heed. Also as other owners have reported the camera will often freeze on random occasions. To resolve, remove the batteries and replace them, this usually makes the camera work again. Oregon, well worth a visit

Advantages: Cheap food and accommodation, friendly people and nice scenary
Disadvantages: Not very much history and widely spread out, so lots of travelling

...Oregon is a beautiful state on the West Coast of the US. I visited the state on my first visit to the country and was pleasantly surprised. The towns are spread out and spacious. The grid system makes them tourist friendly. Shopping is adequate; Portland is actually pretty good for shopping and has a Nike shop that is worth a visit. Moving out of the towns, the countryside is truly breath taking. Forests litter the landscape, particularly in the north of the state. The air is clean and fresh and driving around the countryside is a pleasure. Head north to see Mt St Helens, where the scars left by the last eruption can still be seen on the once magnificent trees. Snow sports are good at the resort near Mt St Helens and can be indulged in all year around. The lodge is particularly pleasant. For a different type of landscape, venture south...

Clock on to Clocking Off
