...I have been using a previous Oregon Scientific projection clock for the past couple of years, and I have been very pleased with it. I decided to get this model because one of the main points is that the projection is strong enough to be seen in daylight. Even on a really bright day, it is still possible to see the time on the ceiling or wall, unlike previous models. As with previous models, it has the radio controlled time feature, meaning that it is always up to date, and requires no manual changes. Although it is possible to turn the radio signal receiver off, and do it manually. This may have to be done if you are using it in an area of weak or no signal. ...My Experience? I've had the Oregon Scientific digital camera for around 2 years now, and overall I have been disappointed. However I have a little relief in the fact that I paid very little for it through a TV bidding channel, Bid-up TV, I recall that it was about £100 along with an array of free image editing and gallery software. Ever since I received the camera it has gone down hill consistently. I know others have had good experiences with this camera, so it would appear to be on an individual basis, but do take heed. Also as other owners have reported the camera will often freeze on random occasions. To resolve, remove the batteries and replace them, this usually makes the camera work again. ...kind of matter, my choice fall to the Oregon Scientific Atlanta PMR TP-329, its specifications (skills) going over the avarage standards. It is stupendous, having a trip with friends with several cars and getting in touch each other with these fabulous devices. Even along the ski run, or inside supermarkets, for a walk on the mountain, every time you could surely find the usefulness of these radios.. Personally, me and my wife, often use them when we go at the shopping mall to get in touch each other: she fills the shopping chart while I search specific produces that interest me.. lol.. The quality of the loudspeacker is wonderful. With a dimension and look of a bar soap, this little and cute station could find place in any pocket. The bedroom ceiling just got better

Advantages: Easy seen time display. Ease of setup and use. Self setting
Disadvantages: No excuse for being late. Dependant on wall colours for brightness.

...: Usability The oregon scientific is a reasonably ease of use product which once set up should keep running with no or very little to do in the way of setups and controlling comands. Excellent for people with eyesight trouble. The time projection arm is able to move independantly so you can choose where to show the time. Options of 12/24 hour times adds to its features and all in all i would say a great and usefull product. Only problem you can't blame power cuts or clock changes on late appointments!! The dimansions of the product are approx 150mm long, 100mm in height and 50 mm in depth so it doesn,t take to much room up on your already full bedside cabinet....

...I am a proud owner of two Oregon products, and both of which I am pleased to own. Purchase number one was a projection clock! Now despite it’s rather ‘different’ title, the projection clock is a must have. How many times have you woken in the middle off the night, wanting to check the time? Holding the clock in all different angles trying to catch a little light to reflect on the face of the clock so you can view the time? I always wake up every night, and always want to know what time it is. Mainly to see whether it’s worth going back to sleep! Imagine my delight when I found this product. Now all I do have to do is press a button and the time is displayed in either AM/PM mode on the ceiling in good clear type. The clock retails at around £25 or so, and is an excellent buy!
