Orient Express but not on rails - Great Istanbul hotel

Advantages: Great location, very good customer service and food in restaurants good
Disadvantages: rooms a little dark and we had no view , could not flush toilet paper in the toilet

Sirkeci is also an area of the old part of Istanbul and The Sirkeci Railway Station was the terminus of the famous Orient Express train and was just round the corner from the hotel. GETTING THERE: We arrived at the airport after a flight from Birmingham via Amsterdam and having read a number of reviews about the taxis from the airport and their enthusiasm for speed and reluctance to accept a fair fare or take four people in one taxi, we choose to book an airport transfer. MURDER OF THE ORIENT EXPRESS (PC 2006)

Advantages: Good actor voices, good atmosphere and you do get to solve crimes.
Disadvantages: Some changes compared to the book, very repetitive, lacks locations to explore.

As a huge fan of the famous detective, Hercule Poirot, Antoinette was thrill to learn that he was going to join her train. Shortly into the game, she introduces herself to Mr Poirot. During the train journey from Istanbul to London, a nasty murder has occurred. The victim?s name was Mr Ratchett. Earlier Ratchett pleaded for Poirot?s help and that he felt he was in grave danger. Poirot coldly decline the request as he felt Ratchett was an evil man. Now Ratchett is dead and to make matters worse, an avalanche has block the rail track...

Would you ride the Orient Express?

Advantages: Beautiful to watch, wonderfully acted...and you'll never guess who did it!
Disadvantages: Albert Finney's rather strange moustache

...BEHIND THE SCENES/CAST The first of a series of four Agatha Christie films to be released during the 1970's - 80's, 'Murder on the Orient Express' found great success with a wide audience and has stayed a firm favourite with movie fans the world over since. Due mainly to the strength of its plot and the acting ability of the ensemble cast its success has led to it being put out in a DVD format alone, rather than in a box set with the other three. The cast is an excellent one; a gathering of such famous people was literally unheard of. We have the notable theatre actor Albert Finney playing the great detective Hercule Poirot, with what I think is a restrained and engaging performance. a very enjoyable afternoon on the Orient Express

Advantages: Excellent food in a romantic atmosphere

The trip, costing approximately £400 for two people, buys you a "Movable Feast", a five-course meal and a five hour train ride through the Kent countryside. The journey will depend on where you join the train. The Orient Express runs journeys all over the UK main land and a small number of continental destinations are also available (these would obviously be much more expensive). A wonderful taste of the Orient

Advantages: Wonderful tasty food with loads of choice something for everyone
Disadvantages: A little bit far for us to travel but worth it. Needs more parking spaces

It takes longer, it's probably more expensive, you have to sit with (get spoken at by) people you don't know and, very quickly, don't like, it's inconvenient?it has, in short, nothing to recommend it. Those of us who don't drive are intrinsically more tolerant of all of the above. We have to be. That doesn?t mean that we aren't fair-minded and capable of writing a critical review when we get rubbish service. In this instance it is fair-mindedness that inspires me to write a review about un-rubbish service. Looking up National Express coaches on the site, I discover that they are not exactly flavour of the month. Poorly Expressed

Advantages: It tries to bring a little known hero to light.
Disadvantages: It's hackneyed in all respects.

...?s politically active brother Will. The large number of montages alone requires a lot of scoring, courtesy of Mark Isham. The majority of the arrangements centre around warm, hopeful string refrains. There are also insistent piano arrangements that set the scene, deep bowed cellos and electric guitar with rising brass and drums for Ernie?s first high school game and the usual triumphal brass for victories. However, there seem to be passages of music for virtually every scene, so you filter it out after a while. It also feels as though the composer is trying to blackmail you into feeling whatever emotion he?s pushing. The other soundtrack choices include popular music of the day from black artists, including ?Mojo Working?, and ?What I?d Say?. They add a historical context, but overall the music feels overzealous. ?The Express? is a serviceable...

Walkers Sensations Oriental Crackers

Advantages: Delicious!
Disadvantages: None!

...A tasty little number for your delectation this afternoon - Walkers very own Sensations Oriental Crackers...the Peking Spare Rib flavour. Yum! It comes in a purple packet with green 'trim', at 110g a bag - the 'share' bag if you will. Unfortunately they're yet to burst into the individual bag market, but if they did I'd be buying them in shares!! What differs them from the normal Sensations brand such as Thai Sweet Chilli is they are shaped like crackers rather than crisps...a posh Quaver than basically... Well, not entirely. Upon opening the packet, the crisps do look like miniature versions of the prawn crackers every Chinese takeaway loves to give away, but smaller and slightly coloured in flavourings. The feel of the crisp when biting down on it is somewhat firmer than a Quaver, so I'll remove the title of 'posh Quaver...

...For those who have been keeping up with my Mandarin Oriental exploits then this is the third installment. Today I shall review one of Singapore?s finest five star hotels and let you into the world of Mandarin Oriental Singapore. I have stayed at a variety of hotels in Singapore but none have come as close to the perfect stay that you get at MO. I last stayed here in 2007 when the hotel was just branded as The Oriental, however Mandarin Oriental have since renamed the property under their full brand, just to make you aware in case you read reviews on either of the properties, they are in fact the same. Just look for the ?fan? logo of the company. I was staying in Singapore in between a trip from Malaysia to Australia and given my love for MO I knew this would be a good choice.
