...One of the TVs in my house has just been replaced, we was lucky enough to get a deal on the Samsung PS50b451 instead of it costing around the £700 asking price a friend of ours used her staff discount and along with some vouchers, the TV cost us around £350 which is brilliant for what it is. bit of a bargain actually. I thought I would review it to see if it is actually worth the £700 asking price to those who aren?t as lucky as us to have a friend who works in a shop that sells them. Why choose this one? Almost star quality from Orion

Advantages: Reasonably priced from a reputable manufacturer
Disadvantages: LCD picture quality can be poor when viewing from certain angles

The Canon EOS 50D superb image quality.

Advantages: Superb image quality, well built, High resolution, low noise, Excellent spec.
Disadvantages: Only minor gripes, no CF card included, large and heavy compared to some.

...When I was younger I always wanted to own a Ford Orion ( I know I was young and wisdom comes with age). When I passed my driving test I knew what would be my first car, with £3000 to spend off I went, and came back with a D reg Ford Orion 1.6i turbo, I loved it . Over the next year or so I added a body kit, alloy wheels and various other extras, this car was the dogs bollocks and I would cruise around town getting looks from everybody. Now I am a lot older I look back at that car with some embarassment but also regret that I ever sold it. The Ford Orion - No Longer With Us, Thank God!

Advantages: Comfortable, Spacious, Cheap spares
Disadvantages: Dodgy high-speed handling, Poor starting, Corrosion in vital areas

...I bought a ten-year old Orion Ghia 1.6 in 1996, after many years of hatchback ownership. Obviously, it was a second car as I could not risk having a Ford as my one and only vehicle. The car felt good, solid and comfortable so I bought the Orion (60,000 on the clock) for £750. The problems I inherited with the car were a non-functioning electric window switch (cured with a dose of WD40) and some ancient and rock-hard front tyres, which scared the life out of me the first time I stood on the brakes.The front wheels locked solid sending the car screeching down the road in a cloud of smoke. Mapex Orion Classic Drumkit

Advantages: Superb Quality & Build
Disadvantages: Quite expensive and not for beginners!

...Yet again Woolworths comes involve for yet another review. They had put 2 DVDs really cheap, unfortunately I was not there to get them, but my mom was so I had no option but to watch these 2 films. These 2 films were 50 First Dates and Maid in Manhattan. They were both only £5 each so it was definitely worth it, according to both my mom and Woolworths. This film follows a girl called Lucy, who had a very fatal car accident, and she is diagnosed with amnesia, so every single day she thinks that it's the day of her accident. However, this person called Henry, is new in Hawaii and meets her one day, at a cafe. He doesn't know she has amnesia and all of a sudden the say they'll meet each other the next day, only she had totally forgotten about that arrangement. Then Henry has a really good idea, but will it work, or will it not work...

Ford Orion 1.3 1989/1990

Advantages: Larger than Escort, Cheap to run and maintain
Disadvantages: underpowered, usual old age rust problems.

...and space. Roof racks could be fitted and infact I managed to fit, myself, partner, 2 kids and a 5 man canvass tent with all accessories for 2 weeks camping trip. The car has no special gadgets with mainly all mechanical parts, this made things easier for me fault diagnosis was easier. The interior was standard as for an escort/orion, grey/brown materials with grey carpet, standard foam seats, no air bags, no power steering. Just plain and simple mechanics. All in all, I liked this car even with the problems I had. If you are looking for a cheap family car with a secure boot space then this would be for you. Be prepared to put up with basic upholstery and features....

Review of Ford Orion 1.3

The F50 Boot

Advantages: Stylish
Disadvantages: Not the best material for football

...I never normally buy Adidas football boots although I thought I would give the F50's a go. Looking at them I thought they were some of the most sytlish boots that i've ever seen. Having worn these boots on several occasions I have realised that they are not really different than any Adidas or nike boot as I do find these brands very similar in trying to create a stylish affect instead of a practical one. I have also come decision that I prefer either Puma or Umbro as I prefer the more lether feel. Also the F50's do like to absorb water when it starts to rain as I found out on several occasions when you sudenly realise that you have bricks on your feet. I therefore have come to the decision that the F50 football is not the most practical ever designed and feel as i have said already that Puma and Umbro are a little better....
