Inflatable Fun Pool

Advantages: Great big pool for a party or BBQ, good value for price

...When we bought our new house one of the specifications was a large garden and a large garden was what we got. We decided that now we had a large garden we needed a large Paddling pool to go in it on sunny days. Of course most people would get one which was easy to blow up and take down and wouldn't be a hassle to empty. Well not us. We spotted this massive red and yellow one which came with a palm tree that sprayed water if you have the right connections, has a small slide, had a basketball hoop and came with balls. There was also a small square part which could just be sat in. It was a bargain at £14.99. This pool is roughly 6ft by 4ft, and took up a large part of the garden. EASY-UP 10ft POOL

Advantages: Hours of fun and quick way to cool off

...I bought this pool as my kids were forever having their friends round in the summer and believe me when there are about ten kids in your garden you need a big pool. This pool is great for all the family it is not just a kids pool and as it is such a large pool you can get in with the kids and learn them to float and swim without the expence of the swimming baths. The 10ft pool comes with video that tells you what to do and how to fill it.the reason it is called easyup is because the only bit you need to inflate is the ring at the top of the pool the rest of it rises as the water fills it up so you dont need to get tired inflating it for an hour like with most pools. The BIGGEST FATTEST pool ever

Advantages: Its so relaxing and keeps everyone happy
Disadvantages: No foot pump, takes ages to fill

...It was just far too hot one day last summer as the family and I wandered about the hot and dusty streets of Grantham. Desperate to get home and remove all clothing, but remaining decent i was quickly losing my temper as the crowds of people slowly blocked every way for me to move down the street....it was hell.... But then... I was somehow forced through the massive automatic door of Woolworths and swept along with a flock of teenage girls toward the toy department. Oh well, while I was here I supposed it was a good idea to have a quick look at the toys, after all , I did have both kids with me and wouldn't get a moments peace otherwise....and there it was....standing out from the shelf right in front of me.......I could see it now.... A HUGE GREAT BIG PADDLING POOL This was so obviousley the answer and definatley worth...

MY BIG 10FT SWIMMING POOL

Advantages: Entertaining for the children and adults
Disadvantages: The garden has to be dead level. WARNING NOT FOR UNDER 6 YRS OF AGE

...First i will tell you the technical stuff. 10ft x 30in/300 x 76cm. Includes pool, cover, instructions and filter pump. Drainage plug connects to hosepipe. Size: depth 76, diameter 300cm. Water capacity 4296 (805) litres. -Laying of the pool- I have to say i had a big job to get it layed. first you have to blow up the ring around the pool (pump recommended) You have to make sure it is completly flat and not wrinkled. You must fill it a little so that you can take the creases out. It takes roughly about 4 hrs to fill so do it in the morning and by the time the kids come back from school its filled for them. You can buy chlorine for it ,which is recommended. WARNING You must have a flat surface not like me and put it on unlevel grass. It is a store that sells everything to do with outdoors from coats and jackets to tents, any thing to do with camping, fishing equipment, skiing, cycling, caravanning, boots, maps every thing you need. The store we went to is in Coventry it is situated at Coventry Business Park, Canley Road, just 10 minutes from the NEC which is not to far from us. It had ample parking places, and it is open every day of the week. Poole in all its Glory

Advantages: Lovely area plenty to see
Disadvantages: Beaches can get busy

...Bournemouth with less people but still a healthy trade and loads of new faces. The town's shopping centre has many shops including Marks and Spencer, Boots, Monsoon and Oasis these top names continue down the high street which in turns flows on to the quay itself. There are plenty of cafés' and food outlets which will allow you to take the weight off your feet. ...Its 10 o clock at night, the stars are out and big brother is the last thing on our mind, summer has arrived and we have invested in an oversized paddling pool. Both our children have birthdays within two weeks of Christmas, so because of this they have token presents on their birthday and we treat them in the Summer, as otherwise they don?t get Summer toys. This year we have bought a 12ft round 30? high pool, with filter, heater, solar cover, net, box of chemical and steps. This was on ebay for £300 and the steps extra at £50. You can get the pool separately with steps, but no heater or solar cover for £225 from Argos, ebay also had some good deals on the stand alone pools if you were quick. The magazine is entitled Outdoors and according to the blurb on the opening page it has been created as part of the PlantforLife campaign which aims to help get the most out of your garden.
