Private Outlet - my worst shopping experience in a long time

...Private Outlet - what is it? Private Outlet is an online members only shopping site that has short (e.g. 5 day) sales for premium brand fashion at discount prices. Once you are signed up, you receive emails informing you when the sales are on for specific brands. My Experience There are a few of these sites that have started up lately and I thought that it was quite a good concept. The brands that they sell appeal to me as I normally couldn't afford to buy them at full price. I had used a similar site before and all was fine so I thought that I would try Private Outlet. I purchased three items from a menswear brand. The first warning sign was that when I made my purchase, the delivery timescale given was around one month. You can buy it from all the shops you'd expect to be able to buy them from including Halfords, mothercare, john lewis', toys r us etc. What do they cost: prices vary depending up on offers and stores but usually this car seat retails at £100. How do they attach? This car seat is different to many of the others on the market. It clips onto a base which is attached to your car, This makes it easy to get the car seat in and out of the car without waking up the baby. ...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Advantages: Close to the channel ports. Close to beach.
Disadvantages: Feels like a cattle pen. In the middle of a housing estate.

The website states that certain facilities such as swimming pool, golf, fishing, children's play area, and others are onsite or nearby, but fails to tell you exactly which facilities are onsite and which ones are not. I first booked this site a month ago and found the booking service by telephone very easy. You can also book online at "Southsealeisurepark.com" but you will have to wait for a response. At the time of booking the person who took my call was helpful and polite. As I was only giving short notice of my visit I was asked to pay on arrival which was surprising but useful as I didn't have to hunt down my credit card. We left...

...This is a fantastic car seat for up to a year old baby. It is very user friendly with easy instructions if you can't work out certain things. It is a slim design so it is quite light and easy to carry, the seat belt is a stylish and simple design where you have to interlock the arm straps then fasten between the legs. The handle can be placed in three positions: 1. behind the seat on the floor to stop seat rocking 2. behind the baby's head so it can rock 3. In place for you to be able to carry it. The seat also comes standard with a fabric cover which attaches to the handle to protect the baby from bright sunlight, and when not in use sits snuggly back in its pouch. My favourite park!

Advantages: Lots of space and things to see and do

...at the park: If like me you actually live quite close to the park but, just slightly too far to walk in a reasonable time, or live no where near there is parking available. There is a charge for this which is £1 per car and this is for as long as you want! I think this is very reasonable when compared to other parks in the region such as Tatton which charge more than double that! Overall opinion: I think Wythenshawe park is a great place for everybody - myself and my husband have walked our dogs many times in the park and the huge open fields mean there is always lots of space and even though there might be lots of visitors it never feels too busy. The playground keeps children happy for hours and the range of other things to see and do mean you could easily spend a whole day here. I would always recommend this park to anybody as I am...
