The Oxford dictionary of English, where would we be without it?!

Advantages: Must have in every home, practical lay out and design, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Could have more information about formal writing, the information avaliable is somewhat limited.

...The Oxford Dictionary of English in my opinion (and I'm sure in many others) is THE best dictionary without a doubt. Its the most trusted and probably the most used. I recommend The oxford dictionary to anyone and everyone, and its a must have in every home. The additional features that are avaliable in the Dictionary is also very impressive and I would say a 'God send' especially when formally writing. The Dictionary is very well written, with great examples and explanations of the meaning of words, and even additional comments that help further with understanding of the sense of which the word should be used in. Its is extremely useful and is always being used in our house. I would encourage young children in particular to use the Oxford Dictionary to assist them in their learning and especially spelling....

No mum it's not a petrol station, it's the Holiday Inn Oxford.

Advantages: Great Price. Good location for roads. Next to park and ride, cheaper than paying for parking!
Disadvantages: Another Holiday Inn, nothing that unique about it. Surly reception staff.

...required. Given the location of the property I imagine in the week it is busy with business travelers whilst full of tourists to Oxford on the weekend. The hotel has a health club which provides gymnasium, pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, free of charge to all guests. After a good night out on the Saturday this was great fun with the kids on the Sunday morning after breakfast and we all had a lot of fun. There was no frowning from the other guests as the kids splashed around and we all felt comfortable unlike some more sophisticated properties where children are not so readily tolerated! ...We went to London on Saturday to see The Sound Of Music at the London Palladium. As accommodation is expensive in London, we decided to stay at our usual Premier Travel Inn at Didcot and drive in. However, somebody recommended the Oxford Tube, so we decided to give ourselves a stress free trip and not have to worry about parking and booked the Oxford Tube instead. What is the Oxford Tube? Well, The Oxford Tube is a bus service that at peak times runs every 15 minutes between Oxford and London. We were very happy with the Tube and will definitely be using it again.
