...Colgate is undoubtedly one of the most established brands of toothpaste in the UK and indeed worldwide. But did you know the company is 200 years old? No neither did I - just take a look at their website if you don't believe me! When it comes to toothpaste, I am loyal to two main brands - Aquafresh and Colgate. I tend to buy several tubes of whichever one happens to be on offer when I go shopping. My latest purchase was two tubes of Colgate Oxygen for £3 from Tesco - a saving of 88p. I had not bought this particular variety before, but was intrigued to find out how well it fared compared to my usual Aquafresh toothpaste. Colgate Oxygen toothpaste comes in a standard sized box, with the Colgate logo embossed across the front. To the right of this are the words 'Oxygen Pure Freshness' and in the background are lots of small blue bubbles...

A Mouthful of Oxygen?!

Advantages: Good taste and totally freshens mouth!
Disadvantages: More expensive than other brands.

...Before I bought Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream I had read about it in magazines with lots of Celebrities citing it as one of there "Must have" beauty products. As ever my inquisitive nature took over and I decided to invest in a tube to find out what I have been missing. So of I went to my local Debenhams and asked the Beauty Advisor for a tube of this recommended cream. The Cream cost me £18 for a 50ml tube. I know this is also available at other department stores so it may be possible to buy this cheaper. The eight hour cream comes in an off white box with the Elizabeth Arden logo on the front. ...This cream comes in a tube and initially seems quite expensive (when I bought my last tube it cost £17). It states that it is for use on chapped or weather burned skin ? basically for use anywhere on the body. It is a brilliant lip salve ? it may seem expensive but I can?t remember the last time I bought a tube ? it must be at least 2 years ago. The cream never goes off and lasts for ages as you only need to use the tiniest amount each time. Another thing it is very good for is when you have a sore red nose during a cold. It soothes and fixes dry skin extremely quickly and in my mind is great value for money....

8 Hour Cream - Unisex ... Really?????

...COLGATE OXYGEN TOOTHPASTE We popped a new toothpaste in our trolley last month, it was Colgate 'Oxygen' toothpaste, and they proudly told me that I would have "a clean, fresh mouth, like a fresh of breath air"!! Did it?? APPEARANCE The 100ml tube came in a cardboard box (why do they do that, it seems a complete waste and it is hardly environmentally friendly); the box is pale blue with a big red Colgate logo and a little pile of bubbles!! The box also tells me that this toothpaste will provide us with Pure Freshness Long lasting fresh breath Care and Protection for our teeth and gums I should hope so, that's why you buy toothpaste isn't it? Is it a cream, is it a mousse? No it's skin protectant...

...I have to say that I wrote this review just because this product kind of took me by surprise. This was given to me (a trial size) by a friend and I stupidly made the assumption it was a moisturiser. When I looked at the tube it said 'skin protectant' and no more. On further inspection on the back I realised that with a trial size, added to the fact that my friend didn't give me the box, confused me further. I unscrewed the cap from the white tube and squeezed. Not a lot happened so I squeezed again. Slowly a bronzed coloured substance came out that to be honest looked more like lip balm than cream.
