Disadvantages: A bit more pricey than other networks - but worth it!

...problem, you are credited with a minutes talk time. Every Orange customer gets a free fully itemised bill, and calls are billed by the second with no minimum charge (sometimes as soon as you are connected on other networks you have to pay a connection charge, e.g. 5p on O2). I have only had to call Customer Services a couple of times, but they have excelled my expectations. The call is free and wait times are very low, if any. The staff are very attentive and answer the phone by saying "Thank you for calling Orange, Mr. / Mrs. (and then your name). How can I help?", which is a nice touch. The staff are very well trained and even with a complex query that I had it was handled efficiently and with no need to refer to a supervisor. Orange coverage is excellent - 99% of the UK population, and their range of extra services is very good...

...easy to make a phone call when you have access to all the numbers so quickly and easily. MESSAGES You can send text messages at a cost of 10p (o2) per message, the message can be 160 characters long, you can write messages the normal way or as I have found extremely useful you can also write them in T9 which means you press the number that has the letter on it and the phone sorts out the word you are looking for if it does not come up with the word you are looking for you just press the star button and that changes the word you keep pressing it until you have the word you want. This is probably the best bit about the phone as I am a text addict and send loads of texts as it is much cheaper than a phone call and it gets the message across just as good.
