one of the best boards for socket 478

Advantages: features SATA, dual channel memory
Disadvantages: lacks modern features such as ddr2 and pci express

...for speed Most Wanted at a resolution of 1024 x 768. My overall conclusion of the P4I65G is that if you dont want to upgrade your whole pc, have a socket 478 CPU and lack features such as SATA and AGP 8x then this is the motherboard to get as it only costs about £30 - £40 which in my opinion is a bargain....

Asrock P4V88 Skt478 Motherboard

Advantages: Easy Setup, Great Performance, Cheap but Reliable
Disadvantages: Some components hard to reach

The only thing I would advise is to connect the cables from your computer case BEFORE you install the processor etc, otherwose it will be very difficult to reach some of them once the board is mounted in the case. A good mid-range motherboard for P4 CPUs

Advantages: Inexpenisve, good performance, lots of ports and slots
Disadvantages: Ports a bit cluttered, no WiFi
