It might seem like an obvious point, but finding a reliable board that I could use indefinitely on a p4 HT and then a dual core in the future was challenging. ...I took my 6 year old son on the weekly food shop with me in the half term holidays - big mistake! His little eyes lit up at the sight of all the goodies on Tescos shelves. When walking through the freezer section he noticed some McCain Micro Chips in the freezer and asked if he could have some as his best friend liked them! I'm not a fan of frozen chips as a whole but to keep him happy I threw a packet in the trolley. Each packet of Micro Chips is a small, black, rectangular cardboard box. The box has a perforated front which you rip open before you microwave them. When I opened the front up the chips looked quite cheap in appearence. The chips themselves are quite long and thinly cut. Gameboy Micro - A Forgotten Gem

Advantages: Looks fantastic, Great battery life, amazing screen, huge library of games, cheap

...Though I was aware of the Gameboy Micro's release in 2005, it seems like myself, no one really took any notice at all when it launched, obscured by the release of 2004's original Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. The GBMicro really didn't offer anything new to the handheld gaming market at all, though there are a few factors which does help level the field of the major handhelds. Upon release, a brand new Gameboy Micro retailed for around £60-80, which for a seemingly out-of-date console was extortionate. Fortunately the price has come down a great deal in the last 2 years or so, seemingly over-stocking the Pink version as it is the cheapest available to which I purchase for a mere £13 as new from eBay. Dry chips anyone? (McCain Micro Chips)

Advantages: Quick to cook.
Disadvantages: Taste terrible.

...McCain micro chips are in my opinion a classic going back to my Uni days and they have always featured in my life! Although I do admit the chips are not the best I have ever eaten but for 3 minutes in the microwave what do you expect! The box I have is made of cardboard and branded McCain Microchips on the front and name "crinkle" which is the type of chips I selected. Cleary advertised on the front of the box is that the product cooks within three minutes. The back of the box contains cooking instructions (basically microwave for three minutes), the box contains 100g of chips, storage instructions (keep frozen) and contact details (see the end of this review). Strangely there is no ingredients list or nutritional information provided so for the meantime this information should be sought from the contact details provided at the end...

Micro in size mighty in storage

...charge this little beauty with the adaptor included cost me only £10.49, when you consider that the same package from the 3 store in my local high street would have set me back £22.99 I think i got a great deal. The card is a 2GB (2048MB) which allows me plenty room for photos and video clips I could even load a complete movie to my phone if I was going on a long bus or train trip but I have an mp4 player so that will not be happening. The card allows very quick upload and download speeds and that after being reliable is the most important thing.
