Advantages: alot of tools.
Disadvantages: cost,takes awhile to get used to features

...Has a web designer this is one program that i use.This is very user friendly,and even beginners can use this.You really could have fun with this. The features on this is very good,you can do things like cropping photos,desaturate/change color of pictures,eraser,clone stamp,magic wand,the list is endless. Myself using this i have managed to design lots of forum websites,edit my own photos.(you can do virtually anything with this image wise. There is even a help menu which if you get stuck or have a problem you can look there for help and not somewhere else.(all in one place.) Advantages: easy to use,great tips and advice
Disadvantages: a very basic designing software package

...This is a fantastic package for designing your own cross stitch patterns. Its quick and esy to set up and use. The biggest downside for me was trying to chart from a scanned in photo, whilst the chart was clear and easy to read the automatic colour selections were quite a way of th eorigonal photo. For example a black dog was charted in variations of dark purples. That could have been my scanner or more likely the software involved in the program. However it is a good program to use if you are new to designing or just want to play around with ideas. The software also allows you to see how your design will look on different colour fabrics,you have the option to chart your design in colour blocks or black and white symbols. The Design museum is a repository for what are considered to be the best , or at least iconic pieces, of twentieth century product design. This includes furniture, tables, chairs, lighting and all manner of interior furnishings. The collection though mostly covering the modernist period does look incredibly dated. Modernism as a style has been around for over a hundred years now, and is fast sliding into a historical period, in fact it already has. ...My daughter wanted this for Christmas after seeing loads of advertisements for this on CITV chanel, (advertising obviously works) there is another designer game as well but this one appealed to my daughter more as she said you could do more on this game. This game is very well suited for the Nintendo Ds and a good use of the pen. When you start the game you have 3 blank profiles that you can go into, so either 3 of you can play and save a profile each on either 1, 2 or 3 or if only one of you plays the game you can save 3 different games.
