...forgetting to give my friend her perfume back - I honestly can't think why I would have forgotten! So the bottle now sits on my dressing table! I went to Ireland on the ferry the other day (read my other op) and coming back I thought I would use the remainder of my Euros, so I bought some perfume, and guess what it was...........yeah, you're right, Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. I've got two bottles of the red now. I'm not sure what the difference is between the red and the purple, but I decided to stick to the red one. The perfume cost me £26.50 on the boat, but I have now seen it for £33 in Boots. This is for the 50ml bottle of Eau de Parfum spray. I actually went into Boots in Durham on my dinner break today, and I had a look at the prices, and the bottle I got on the ferry cost £43 in Boots! It was the purple colour, but still the same...

Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet Man

Advantages: Smells Fantastic, Not Too Expensive
Disadvantages: None, Apart from friends stealing it

.... The fragrance is very modern, and is better suited for the 15- 30 age group in my personal opinion. It has been very well recieved by me, both male and female friends commenting on the scent. It is definately a good pulling tool lads! :p I find that this fragrance is best worn in the evening, at a meal, or down the pub, and is not really an all day fragrance. I find that the fragrance does last extremely well, I have found that at putting it on at around 6pm, it has lasted right through the night. After a couple of hours the scent mixes very well with your personal scent, and becomes deep and musky. However still keeping the sweetness and crispness. Prices for this fragrance are around £27 for 50ml, and £37 for 100ml, which is a very good price in my opinion, and could easily get away with being sold at least £10 more, I'd still definately...

...looks gorgeous half glass and half silver metallic and the perfume itself is a bright purple colour. It is a rounded bottle though which means you can't stand the bottle on a dressing table which is a bit annoying. I found this paragraph on the internet that explains some of the different fragrances that make up Ultraviolet. "Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne celebrates the intimacy and reality of a woman's life as she and her family truly live it. This fresh fragrance has notes of bergamot, chamomile, sage, osmanthus, Bulgarian rose, jasmine, white lily, carnation, freesia, amber, sandalwood and peach." The smell of violets

...One day whilst sitting in my office I noticed a nice smell in the office, it reminded me of something but I couldnt quite make it out, then I saw one of my colleagues take out a strange bottle from her bag and I just had to ask what it was she told me it was Ultra Violet by Paco Rabanne so I asked for a squirt and fell in love with it. Ultra Violet was launced by Paco Rabanne in 1999 and comes in a round bottle with a glass bottom and a silver top, around the middle is a white soft plastic/rubbery type band where the spray comes out from, you just hold the bottle in your hand and press down on the silver top two or three squirts does the trick. The best perfume in the world......ever!

...Well as you can probably tell from the title. I LOVE THIS PERFUME! I first tried it about 3 years ago when I caught a whiff in a magazine add. I had never smelt anything like it before and it is such a disctinct smell that you can tell when someone's wearing it. That's what I love about it, lots of perfumes smell " a bit like that one" and " a bit like this one", but ultraviolet doesn't . There's not one perfume I can say it's like. THE SMELL The smell is similar to that of parma violets only not so light. The smell is rich and full of aroma. It's a warm smell, which fills your nostrils with excitement and leaves as a sweet undertone, which remains in the background. It is a sexy smell and I love to wear it for special occassions, but I love it so much I tend to wear it all the time! PRICE I've seen the 30ml EDP bottles...

...I've been wearing ultraviolet for so long now that I can't remember why I first bought it...I do remember that I graduated in my late teens from the EDT to the EDP and that that was one of the better decisions I made in my late teens. The reasonable priced Ultraviolet comes in a stylish, easy to use bottle. But others before me have discussed the packaging in much greater detail, I prefer to discuss talk about the important thing. The smell. The perfume has a light, refreshing, slightly sweet smell. It's not overpowering in any way, there's nothing that I at least can put my finger on as saying it smells like. And that in my opinion is it's strength. There's a subtlety to it. When you smell it, you pick up a variety of fragrances and just can't quite figure out what they are.
