Advantages: Stylish, and it smells lovely
Disadvantages: Useless if the spray breaks
...I recently went out for the night with a friend and she asked me if I would put a bottle of perfume in my bag, because her bag was too small, mine is big enough for the kitchen sink! She took the perfume out with her instead of using a bodyspray.
Happy to oblige I put the perfume in my bag, it was Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. My first thought was, oh doesn't that look fun!
The bottle was really unusual, it was round in shape and the top half was silver and the bottom was glass with pink liquid inside. Around the middle of the bottle was a thin band of rubber, and I realised that this was the spray. You push down on the silver top of the bottle and the rubber goes down, which results in the perfume spraying out!
I was like a kid with a new toy. I love unusual bottle and such like, as I always end up keeping them when they are...

Purple Haze
Advantages: Long lasting , fabulous fragrance , suits a variety of ages , great colour

Personally I still feel it is a bit heavy for work, but to each his own. I find I cannot smell the vanilla but I agree it definitely has a oriental flavour to it. It smells as if it's floral based but it's definitely not flowery. To me it is a warm, musky sort of perfume.
There is a range of products available for men or women in Paco Rabanne's Ultraviolet. They are not the cheapest range around but they are good value and the product is good. It causes no sensitivity on my skin at all .
RECOMMENDATION

If I had to find the adjectives to describe Ultraviolet I would say it's sensuous, sexy, warm, in your face,heady , vibrant,youthful and floral. Pricey! Paco Rabanne XS Pour Elle
Advantages: Long lasting and beautiful fragrance

Well I was bought this Paco Rabanne Xs Elle Eau De Toilette Spray as a gift from my Mother, the Christmas before last. I had never tried or even thought of trying this fragrance out before as I have always associated Paco Rabanne fragrances with men really and did not even realise Paco Rabanne made women's fragrances until just over one year ago. Well I actually received this Eau De Toilette Spray in a beautiful gift set with a bottle of body lotion and some matching shower gel so it really was a nice gift to receive for Christmas as I love perfumes and their bottles (probably more) so even if the fragrance was not to my taste, at least I had a nice perfume bottle to add to my growing collection on my dressing table and Bathroom shelves.

Perfectly Purple Superbly Sexy
Advantages: Smells gorgeous, stylish packaging
Disadvantages: May not be everyones cup of tea
...looks gorgeous half glass and half silver metallic and the perfume itself is a bright purple colour. It is a rounded bottle though which means you can't stand the bottle on a dressing table which is a bit annoying.
I found this paragraph on the internet that explains some of the different fragrances that make up Ultraviolet.

Purple Haze

...After smelling this product in a magazine sample, I pestered my boyfriend to buy me a bottle for Christmas and haven’t regretted it since. As the newest addition to my collection it’s certainly one of my all-time favourites, although I am probably slightly bias seeing as my favourite colour is purple and this fragrance is the epitome of the colour in my opinion.
This perfume was introduced by the design house Paco Rabanne in 2000 and is a vision of the new millennium translated into the spiritual essence of modern femininity. Made in France, it describes itself as the harbinger of a new femininity. The colour - violet - being the chromatic symbol of femininity. The bottle is made from glass, silicone and metal in order to give a true tactile softness to the object and is made in a shape known as an ellipse.

The smell of violets

...One day whilst sitting in my office I noticed a nice smell in the office, it reminded me of something but I couldnt quite make it out, then I saw one of my colleagues take out a strange bottle from her bag and I just had to ask what it was she told me it was Ultra Violet by Paco Rabanne so I asked for a squirt and fell in love with it.
Ultra Violet was launced by Paco Rabanne in 1999 and comes in a round bottle with a glass bottom and a silver top, around the middle is a white soft plastic/rubbery type band where the spray comes out from, you just hold the bottle in your hand and press down on the silver top two or three squirts does the trick.
The outer box is a plastic modular shape and is purple in colour and has the Paco Rabanne Ultra Violet name on it.
The smell is very strong when first applied but soon settles down so...

***PACKAGING***
The 30ml Eau De Parfum Vaporisateur comes in a vibrant, metallic purple box (imagine the purple chocolate foil wrapping, well that?s the look) about 3.5 inches in height (about 9.5cm) and has a white band running centrally through the purple. On the top of the box the Paco Rabanne logo is embossed into the box.

Love it!
Advantages: lovely, gorgeous smell, reasonable price

...I've been wearing ultraviolet for so long now that I can't remember why I first bought it...I do remember that I graduated in my late teens from the EDT to the EDP and that that was one of the better decisions I made in my late teens.
The reasonable priced Ultraviolet comes in a stylish, easy to use bottle. But others before me have discussed the packaging in much greater detail, I prefer to discuss talk about the important thing. The smell.
The perfume has a light, refreshing, slightly sweet smell. It's not overpowering in any way, there's nothing that I at least can put my finger on as saying it smells like. And that in my opinion is it's strength. There's a subtlety to it. When you smell it, you pick up a variety of fragrances and just can't quite figure out what they are. Ultraviolet Delights!
Advantages: Great smell, classy, modern, lasting and great value!
Disadvantages: None
...classy scent and certainly seems to last the duration, I often catch whiffs of it several hours after applying.
People always notice the fragrance, I have had numerous comments on how great it smells from both men and women, women especially.
This a great scent and would make an excellent gift. It is also great value for money. Overall, it looks and smells great. It could be worn by men of any age, as it is a scent that most if not all women will love.
I highly recommend this as a gift for your fella, I know I appreciated it! It is also great if you're a bloke who wants to smell great when he goes out on the town.
I hope you like the review, I can't praise this fragrance highly enough....
