Advantages: Accuracy, durable, wide range of upgrades, Hardly any maintanence, feedneck to side for aiming
Disadvantages: a little loud, not very air efficient, slow trigger

...can say this was the best gun i could have started off with! This gun runs fine on both air and c02 but i recommend using air since it wont freeze up the interior (c02 is stored as a liquid in the tank so it is very very cold!!!). The gun is well balanced and is a must for a begginer or a spare marker (paintball term for gun). This should meet your requirements and expectations unless you decide to start doing tournaments (speed ball fields which are open fields with blow up bunkers). This is a must!!!!!!! Paintballing!

Advantages: Wild, adrenaline-filled fun
Disadvantages: Does hurt and leaves you covered in bruises!

.... A hard mask, another soft netted mask that goes under the hard one that also covers your hair, a velcro belt to put spare paint balls in, and a container for the balls which attaches to the gun. Paintballing at Delta

Advantages: Great fun, you'll laugh about it for years.
Disadvantages: The pain, and lack of variety in playing fields.

The AutoMag is Great for New Paintball Players

Advantages: lightweight, durable and reliable, relatively inexpensive
Disadvantages: Doesn't shoot as fast as a Shocker

...I first started playing paintball two years ago when I met my current boyfriend. At the time, he loaned me his Auto-Mag and after playing with it for several weeks, I knew I found the gun for me. Now I own one it's never failed me. This gun is much smaller and lighter than the Shocker and Autococker, two of the best guns in the paintball market today. Due to that it makes it a very good choice for players, especially women. It still fires quite rapidly and once you're used to the gun, you can give even a Shocker a run for it's money. Shockers are shockers!!! :o !!!!

...I had been using a smartparts shocker for about 3 months before i got a planet eclpise ego. I have had alot of experience with paintball markers (guns) and this one has been one of my favourites! I have used many guns: tippmanns (98 custom, a5) smartparts guns (ion, impulse, shocker) wdp angels (speed) autocockers (e2 eblade) planet eclipse (ego) This gun is reliable and i have had no any problems within the 3 month period of its use. Having said that they do have some flaws in the making 1 out of 30 shockers will have slightly weaker parts than the others which can be corrected with the year guarantee thats normally provided depending on where you buy it (i would reccomend going to an actual paintball store instead of ordering online that way if you get a problem you can take it back and they will fix it (normally for free...

Its a spyder but it doesnt have 8 legs!!

Advantages: Quite cheap, reliable, c02 can be used, maintanence
Disadvantages: Ugly, heavy, loud, manufacturing, speed, size

...I have never owned this gun but i have used the Spyder pilot ACS 05 many times! I used this gun (borrowed off my friend) about 7months ago while my smartparts ion (a very popular tournament standard gun) was being fixed. Delta Force Paintball in Maidenhead. Incredible!

Advantages: Amazing game zones, friendly marshals, high adrenaline fun
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, didn't last long enough!

...I went to a Delta Force paintball site in Maidenhead, near Reading, for my mates 18th a couple of weeks ago. His dad had booked us in online but after finding out that those VIP tickets are cheaper (and you get more free paintballs!) he cancelled the booking through the booking office and bought a couple of books of tickets. We turned up at around 9am and had to fill out a registration form. We were then issued our equipment. This consisted of a boiler suit (they were all very clean and came in a wide variety of sizes), a helmet, a "battlepack" (for holding extra paintballs) and a hopper for the guns. After getting ready and being assigned to a team we were given a safety briefing (the marshals were very passionate about safety throughout the day and were always more than happy to help).
