Advantages: Synergy, Web account integration, Fast Search, Facebook integration, Full Browser Disadvantages: Music Integration, No Flash or streaming MPG support
...services which work well, Facebook application appears to be a waste of time but the mobile web version works really well so I just don?t use the download Palm Pre version as it appears to have no functionality. App store improving al the time with the usual weather news type applications, a lot of the applications do seems to be USA orientated.
Summary
Overall I love this phone but I don?t like lack of support for streaming video other than the built in YouTube app, Missing flash support at this time is disappointing but it is supposedly supported early 2010, this will improve the web experience massively.
Love the fact I have not had to add any contacts they had been pulled in automatically from my Facebook Gmail, Hotmail and BT Yahoo accounts which I thought was great, in America they seem to have already launched the ?Palm Pre Plus? so it...

Review of Palm Pre
Advantages: everything! cheap reliable, fantastic features Disadvantages: no spare stylus or screen protectors in box
...I got my new Palm TX in August this year and I have been very impressed with its performance and flexibility. I previously owned a Palm Tungsten E which screen was 320 x 320 resolution and had no Bluetooth or Wi-fi, so these 2 features are great additions for me.
For those who have never used a PDA they are all touch screen and most have handwriting recognition to save having a keyboard and in Palm handhelds this is called Graffiti and is very handy when writing as you can just write as you normally would.
The Screen size of the TX is 320 x 460 so videos can be viewed in landscape and portrait modes, so effectively can be in widescreen. The video quality is very impressive and I would highly recommend in investing in a 2GB SD card for those long journeys.
The new palm desktop software is similar to the previous but has a much easier...

Review of Palm TX
Advantages: A neat unit with lots of applications Disadvantages: None
...The Palm Tungsten is a sleek cool looking handheld with a vast array of features that are going to suit the majority of users. It comes with most of these features pre-loaded, but there are more on the provided CD which also contains the software to enable synchronization with your PC or Mac. Also provided in the box are several power adaptors which will make in rechargeable almost worldwide. Although the unit comes with Bluetooth there is also an additional cable supplied which will link your Palm to your computer for the transfer of data. I have found through experience that the cable method is definitely significantly quicker compared with the Bluetooth, but again each to their own.
One thing I have noticed is that the lifespan of the internal rechargeable lithium battery is greatly improved from previous...

Review of Palm Tungsten E2
...I bought a Palm Life Drive a few months ago and am still living with it, although there have been a few times when I have wanted to throw it with all the force I can muster from my office window. Having been a Windows PDA user I migrated to the Palm Life drive from reading reviews but never actually using one in anger. Having done so I have to say as soon as I can justify spending some money on a new PDA I will without any hesitation.
Anyway, let's begin with the review.
1) The Case
The Palm feels well made, the case appears to be manufactured partly from metal and there are no creaks or squeaks when you apply gentle pressure to the device. The device is ipod-style in design with a simple formed case without many obvious buttons.
2) The Buttons
The on-off button is at the top of the case and requires a sideways sliding...
Advantages: Huge memory, good processor, acts as a USB removeable drive Disadvantages: Size, start-up response time
...will run from the Lifedrive memory with very little reduction of speed, which is much better than using a plug-in memory card.
Features: The huge memory allows you to store and play music and video files making your MP3 player redundant unless you want to go jogging.
In "drive mode" (a Palm programme) the unit can be connected to any computer as an external USB removeable drive without any set-up requirements, enabling fast transfer of files. I have found this useful when working away from the office transferring files from my laptop to third party computers.
With built in Bluetooth and WiFi, it makes connecting to the web and doing emails easy. Although I haven't used this much, I have had no problems with this. Linking it to my mobile phone is easy.
Running Word, Excel and Powerpoint programmes really are easy as there...
Advantages: Light, powerful, elegant, good battery life, lots of software available. Disadvantages: Not a stand alone product
...Once you have mastered Graffiti, which takes next to no time, then the Palm is an excellent tool to have at one's disposal. It has an advatage in terms of size over the Psion in that you can really put it in a shirt, jacket or trouser pocket. The software (Chapura Pocket Mirror) supplied, which allows you to connect the cradle to your computer and synchronise your Palm with Outlook is excellent, and is something I use a great deal, rather than using Palm Desktop as a syncing tool. Indeed for users of other software, it is possible to download from the web anything you require.
The range of freeware and the easiness of installation via HotSync is outstanding. Whilst the IIIe is for everyone, the Vx is certainly more for the business man, which explains the IR link, allowing you to beam contacts, appointments and other things to other...

Review of Palm Vx
Advantages: Fully usable handheld computer and phone combined Disadvantages: Battery life, small standard memory
...a powerful vibrating battery, or do I go for LG's Shine, a supremely sexy looking mobile phone built with LG's legendary (ahem) quality? There's the Nokia N93i, which looks like it's designed to either inflect extreme pain or extreme pleasure, or there's the somewhat unpronounceable Motorola KRZR K1, which is less motorbike and more fashion phone of choice for the elite.
At the end of the day, however, I choose my phones on the basis of what I'm actually going to use them for every day so - even though the mighty N95's DVD-quality camera and built-in GPS software was appealing, and even though its double-slide mechanism to choose between multimedia and phone options was so breathtaking I almost creamed my Jeep jockey shorts at the sight of the sales girl slipping the keypads back and forth in her nimble fingers - I chose the Palm Treo 750v as...

Review of Palm Treo 750v
Advantages: Great colour and comparative value for money. Rechargeable battery a big plus. Disadvantages: Slightly bulkier than average PDA's
...The Palm IIIc handheld PDA is a great help for an experienced Palmer.
First off, if you must have color this is a must have for you because the color is crisp and clear.
If you would like a good audio, music, sound this is probably not for you because of the high peak of the volume, very low, would be too quiet to hear in a croud of people or any place where it is noisy.
If you are a first user I would suggest the Palm X, Palm IIIe they are cheap and work great!
I found the unit to have excellent contrast and display. Once you are used to colour - it is difficult to go back to monochromatic displays.
This is the color version of the Palm 3 and looks better and clearer for it. Memory is not upgradable and 8mb is not a huge amount. I have 3mb left and starting to worry. Bad mistake but I will cope...

Review of Palm IIIc
Advantages: Small and well made, Palm OS Disadvantages: a bit fiddly
...This is a well thought-out device with a good touch sensitive screen and a surprisingly usable keyboard, even for people like me, with fat fingers. I have used Palm OS PDAs for many years so I have a lot of data and applications from previous devices that I want to maintain and I was keen to stay with the Palm OS operating system rather than switch to Windows at this stage. It was easy to move the Treo 680 from my Palm T5 without any loss of data. Now I only need to carry one device instead of a PDA and a phone. The stylus is a bit fiddly to use when compared to the chunky T5 one, but then the stylus is not needed as much given that the keyboard replaces the need for text entry with the stylus.
The operating system is easy to use and syncs without any problems to my old iMac (Mac OS X version 10.2.8) In the few months I have owned...
