Treemendous Tree With A Load Of Balls

Advantages: Fantastic Toy With Endless Play Vlaue.

...Firstly to start this review I must appologise for the review tittle.....bad I know lol. After reading lots of good reviews and also this tree-mendous tree was recommended by a friend I decided to buy the VTech Discovery Tree (for rest of review referred to as tree) for my setting about six months ago. ~What Is It ?~ A very brightly coloured tree which is green, red, yellow, blue and orange.The tree comes with five friendly ball characters. It is made by VTech and is made of tough plastic and is fairly sturdy. At the bottom of the tree are piano keys labelled ABCDE and a flip board also an on/off/volume switch. At the top of the tree on the left side is a hole to put the balls down, the balls go down a helter skelter slide and roll over the piano keys to the flipboard at the bottom making various sounds and saying phrases as...

Palm trees in England

Advantages: Something for everyone
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!

The Med with Palm trees

Advantages: A nice holiday destination
Disadvantages: a bit of a let down

...After a week of running around North America on Honeymoon, I spent my second week on the Hawaiian island of Oah'u. While it is very nice with crystal clear waters, sunny skies and picturesque mountain ranges and volcanoes, I felt it was more like Majorca with palm trees than a tropical paradise. Dont get me wrong, I had a good time and it is a nice place, I just think its a long way to go when you are expecting something like they portray on the TV. Getting there will take you a little over 16 hours of flying. You normally have to stop on the West coast of USA to refuelor change planes which normally means is takes up a day of your holiday flying there and another flying back. Time difference is 11 hours from the UK. 11 hours behind. This really plays havoc with your body clock as you suffer with jet lag. Anyway...

Made in 1996 it is a relatively unknown film but was a critcal if not commercial succes for Buschemi The film is about an alcoholic named Tommy (Steve Bushemi), the film starts and he is trying to wangle one more drink out of the barmaid 15 minutes after 'time'. The barmaid Connie(played by Carol Kane - Hester Street, Taxi) is obviously familiar and serves him with Tommy, which is an interesting tenet to the film as everyone knows everyone in this small suburb and everyone knows Tommy and he seems to recoil from it in shame. The bar 'Trees Lounge' is always populated by Tommy, an elderly alcoholic Bobby and another successful alcoholic Mike (Mark Boone Junior - Batman Begins, Lonesome Jim) Tommy starts to form a friendship with Mike thinks he is a looser. Advantages: everything! cheap reliable, fantastic features
Disadvantages: no spare stylus or screen protectors in box

...I got my new Palm TX in August this year and I have been very impressed with its performance and flexibility. I previously owned a Palm Tungsten E which screen was 320 x 320 resolution and had no Bluetooth or Wi-fi, so these 2 features are great additions for me. For those who have never used a PDA they are all touch screen and most have handwriting recognition to save having a keyboard and in Palm handhelds this is called Graffiti and is very handy when writing as you can just write as you normally would. The Screen size of the TX is 320 x 460 so videos can be viewed in landscape and portrait modes, so effectively can be in widescreen. The video quality is very impressive and I would highly recommend in investing in a 2GB SD card for those long journeys. The new palm desktop software is similar to the previous but has a much easier...
