My review on PalmOne Treo 650

Advantages: Super Quality screen, easy2use keyboard, All in one device, bluetooth, infra, EDGE, lot palm based software.
Disadvantages: No Wi-Fi, low build in memory, so so battery life.

...It is actually one of my dream comes true product, plus something that i have been waiting for some long time. i still remember year ago, when i fall in love with the PalmOne Tc due to it mini keyboard & build in Wi-Fi, BUT later found out so many bad thing of this product plus the so expense price tag so i wait til today, finally a palmOne products that all in one OR what i need. but i do understand this is not a easy review, as the Treo 650 can do TOO much plus LOT of function that you can do...so if any point that i didn't touch, you can either ask or request me to add later. Palm Treo 650 :)

Advantages: brilliant bright screen, palm os platform
Disadvantages: arial sticking out, rather big design-form

...Back in June when Palm had the 'football game' competition on, I won my trusty little (well actually rather large) treo 650. I believe that the only reason I find it large is because I have had lighter, smaller sony ericsson phones beforehand. ...The PalmOne Treo 650 is a very expensive phone / PDA. Fortunately the company I work for supplies this to me other wise I probably would not have given it a second glance. The Treo 650 looks a tidy aesthetically pleasing item, with a reasonable size screen showing 320 x 320 pixel resolution and is touch sensitive. The keyboard on the Treo 650 is a delight, it sits underneath the screen and has large sized buttons with a raised face to allow quick correct typing. The navigation button sits between the screen and the keyboard in the centre of the phone. Review for Treo 650 limited edition

Advantages: Good performance, PDA phone, good battery life, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Lousy VGA camera, a bit heavy

...I bought this phone with a contract at around 92 Euro 1 year ago. It is a solid phone with very long lasting battery (2 batteries in box) which can last 4-5 days for normal usage (actually time may vary on different usage). The most advantage of this phone is you can find many free resource to install in Palm OS, e.g. dict, games, movie players, file readers. There is also some very good e-books and softwares which you can buy online. Normally I use the phone as a MP3 player, or a digital file reader and a game player when I was in Bus and subway. It also can turns into a GPS with a additional gps receiver if you drive a car. It can also browers internet with a SD wireless card, so you can check your emails but I didnot try this yet. Advantages: Small and well made, Palm OS

...This is a well thought-out device with a good touch sensitive screen and a surprisingly usable keyboard, even for people like me, with fat fingers. I have used Palm OS PDAs for many years so I have a lot of data and applications from previous devices that I want to maintain and I was keen to stay with the Palm OS operating system rather than switch to Windows at this stage. It was easy to move the Treo 680 from my Palm T5 without any loss of data. Now I only need to carry one device instead of a PDA and a phone. The stylus is a bit fiddly to use when compared to the chunky T5 one, but then the stylus is not needed as much given that the keyboard replaces the need for text entry with the stylus. the Palm Treo 500 - a macintosh users perspective!

Advantages: keypad, email, bubble breaker
Disadvantages: battery life

...I chose the Palm Treo 500 for the fact that it has a full keypad for typing, in the style of the blackberry and iphone design rather than having to rely on predictive text etc for email, and although the buttons are naturally small, this aspect of the phone is still very appealing. Caps lock typing can be very awkward however... As a macintosh user, I wasn't sure about using a windows based product, but the functionality is very good and simple to use. Email - for a pop3/imap4 account, once set up works very well although it helps if you have experience of setting up email accounts as you need to know all the settings or where to get hold of them... Internet I find is perfectly functional but the screen size makes browsing frustrating! It is important with the Palm Treo and similar products to not expect too much from these facilities...

Palm Treo 750v - brilliant

Advantages: One machine to carry. Quick internet access. Easy to operate

...Having been a heavy user of palm pda's for a few years I was reluctant to part with them, however it was getting a bind carrying my mobile phone and pda around with me. I thought long and hard about the choices and decided to stick with Palm and go for the Treo 750v. I sold my phone and pda on ebay and away I went. I have now used the Treo for 4 weeks and feel I made the right decision... why? The treo if is has any fault is larger than my mobile phone and it took some getting used to the size, also I don't always get the same clarity with reception.
