PALMEIRA RESTAURANT PORTO Where Size matters

Advantages: Good service, Large Portions, and tables.
Disadvantages: Closed on Sundays.

...On our short stay to Porto we like to try local Restaurants rather than Hotel Restaurants, although the Grande Hotel Do Porto, Hotel's Menu looked very tempting. We had noticed a Restaurante sign in the little street that runs behind the Hotel, sorry I did not get the street's name, but if you find the Grande Hotel do Porto on Rua Santa Catarina, stand facing then look for alley to the right, goes down ,turn left about 40 yards the Resaurante Palmeira, dont be put off by the Snack Bar sign, enter by the door on the right down stairs then into the restaurant. We had called in about 17:00 and asked for a table for 4 at 20:00, no problem, they did not even take a name. PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER, PS2

Advantages: Briilant Graphics, player movments, passing and Master League
Disadvantages: No real stadia, not as good comentry as FIFA

...it, (by coming first in the premier division). The two-division system introduced in Evo. 2 was a brilliant aspect of the game and made the league system a whole lot better. Promotion and relegation are now an issue adding to the stress, excitement and most importantly the challenge. The master league on the PS2 version has been though, been improved vastly. You can now compete against 8 extra teams, addition to the PS1 version. LUXURY AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

Advantages: EACH ROOM HAS DIFFERENT DECOR
Disadvantages: CAN BE FULLY BOOKED

...and fittings. As well as a sea view, the bathroom offers a jacuzzi bath. The West Pier room next door also offers a sea view. The white four poster bed is quite romantic. The bathroom has that all important jacuzzi bath. The Marina room on the second floor offers a water bed to compliment the sea view. The decor is pale blue and the bathroom has a jacuzzi bath to aqua fun. The Palmeira room at the back of the second floor has slightly floral decor. Although it lacks the sea view, the bathroom offers a shower and marble decor for quite a striking effect. The Brighton Belle room next door looks out over the church.
