(I tried Huggies early on and found them to be totally unreliable and remained loyal to Pampers ever since.) With baby number two, I did chop and change brands a bit more as money was more of an issue. Having said that, I always found myself coming back to Pampers. The full RRP of Pampers nappies are higher than the prices charged for shops' own brand nappies but I can honestly say that I've never paid the full price for Pampers. Pampers Naturals: Wipes for Ruby-Lu's bottom.

Advantages: Lightly scented, nice & moist, good packet, no rashing or irritation occurred.
Disadvantages: Overpriced when not on offer, lots of wipes come out together.

Ruby unfortunately suffers from eczema and has had this since birth but she did not have any particular reaction to these wipes and no spots or rashes occurred when using these in conjunction with Pampers Baby-Dry Size 3 (see previous review if interested). They are lightly scented with lavender and it's not overwhelming and these do not foam or anything when using them so that's great. Pampers sensitive wipes

...water. My opinion The wipes do feel very thick and soft and are slightly moist. They smell clean and fresh. I found that with my daughter being two, her poo is solid and they did not seem to clean her bum as well as Johnsons wipes. I think this could be because they are not wet enough. It was taking 3 to 4 Pampers wipes to get her bottom properly clean where Johnsons only need two. I must add that due to my daughters sometimes none existant bowel movements, sometimes not going for 5 days, she is on a mild laxitive to ensure regular bowel movements, this does in turn slightly soften her poo. The wipes do come out of the packet very easily and in singles unlike Johnsons which sometimes come out in 3's or 4's. This could be because the opening of the pampers packet is bigger than on the Johnsons pack. The wipes also fall back...

...i think pampers are the best nappies on the market. i have 4 children aged between 2 and 12 and have used them for each child. never experienced sore bottoms, rashes or leaky nappies. i have occasionally used other quality brand nappies and can say that no other compares to pampers. they are expensive, but you pay for quality and if you shop around you can get bargains. the nappies are soft and strong. i travel a lot on long distances with my children and sometimes have not been able to change a nappy at the right time. even after lengthy wearing there are still no leaks or sore bottoms. they are also easy to but on a wriggly bottom and are soft for your newborn baby. well worth the money....

Pampers for happy bums and happy mums

Advantages: Absorb well, non-leak, fit well, easy to fasten, range of different sizes
Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive than most other brands

...In my experience Pampers are the best nappies on the market. I first started using Pampers nappies when I was brought numerous packs of Newborn Pampers during my pregnancy, and never looked back. Once my baby had outgrown newborn nappies I moved onto Pampers Baby Dry and then on to Pampers Easy Ups (I won't be including Easy Up's in this review as they aren't strictly classed as nappies). Unlike some other nappies I have tried, Pampers don't leak. Not even after a long night or an extra runny poo! They absorb well and my babys skin was never wet when I changed her, even if her nappy was heavy. My baby never had bad nappy rash either. The nappies are really breathable which means her skin never got too sticky and moist. They are very stretchy and elastic around the legs which meant I didn't have to worry about them rubbing...

...These are really brillant Nappys I find that my son can stay dry up to 12 hours ( overnight) without them leaking. so really good if you dont want to keep changing nappies every hour or so or even have baby waking up because of a wet nappy The nappys are reaaly good at absorbing moisture away from babys skin so no nappy rash with these nappys They are also excellent for staying up - My son is now a active toddler that runs around everywhere and they are just what he needs. The nappys fit around my sons legs perfect with no chafting or rubbing to the skin which is brillant. I would recommend these nappys and have tried and tested a few brands on my son and have found Pampers to be one of the best...
