...Stoves PANACHE600SI. We purchased this low level Gas cooker some several months ago now, from Curry's for about £340. Like most people I should imagine it was the cookers looks that attracted me, more so than its capabilities. A clean crisp White body and its Chrome and Black, handles and knobs, and Chrome and Black top fittings and glass lid, thought would look perfect in my kitchen, which it does. It has 4 ring burners on the top, the smallest at the right hand side, largest to the left and to medium sized rings to the rear. I have a total of five people in my family, and find this ample to cover the every day usage for pot and pan cooking, and the larger ring take a Wok comfortable, when a bit of Chinese cooking is on the menu. Big laughs - No trouble

Advantages: Great casting - perfect performances

...I expected thrills, action, violence, all the things that I actually did get - but with the added bonus of genuine comedy! Kurt Russell is in one of his best roles and carries it off with a panache that lights the whole movie. From his opening problems with his truck (yes, he's a trucker - and how!) through unintentional entanglement with the Tongs, through his involuntary search for... No, I'm getting too much into the plot, and that's not good. Suffice it to say that there are some outstanding special effects (and hilarious, to boot - as with the exploding villain), romance - Kim Cattrall in the most outrageous make-up job imaginable, and a happy-ish ending. Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls Review

Advantages: Funny, memorable moments

...didn't feel like this was as consistently funny as the first one. The acting is alright, ditto the script, but the thing you're looking for most in a film like this is laughs, and they're not as forthcoming as the original. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad film and it's well worth you buying or watching it, it's just not as good as the first one. It's probably not for people who like more high brow laughs, as this is a slapstick kind of comedy. But unlike a lot of slapstick 'comedies' made recently, it doesn't go over the top in my opinion and doesn't try to completely gross you out just because it can. Overall a quality comedy film, worth watching, but doesn't match the wit and panache of the original. I think it's been out for a long time so you should be able to buy it for a few quid from most retailers, which is good value...

Advantages: Superb music (if you like that kind of thing...)

...None of us, of course, will admit to liking Abba, but we all know their songs and find them strangely hummable. Perhaps, when we're sure no one is looking, we might have a peep at this film through a sense of misguided nostalgia. If we do, we will find ourselves mostly watching Abba performing with panache during their Australian tour. They give a good account of themselves, but the impression we get is of consummate professionals rather than real people: no great perspective is shed on the members of the band themselves, or even on their image as with some of the Beatles films. There is a miserable plot winding through it, as a hapless Sydney DJ struggles to secure an interview with the band. Rather than contact their press office, his strategy appears to be to just bump into them and ask politely. Still, it seems to work...
