Cool Stereo!
Review of Panasonic SC-AK 17 by
broksababe
Advantages: looks stylish
Disadvantages: none
...I bought a panasonic skaa17 a few months back and it is an excellent choice, the first thing that attracted me to it was all the flashing lights on the front, sort of a little display that looks like a space invaders game!!, but the rest of it is excellent too, you can choose from various presets to enhance the sound of your music, such as rock, hall, flat, heavy!!
It also takes a generous 5 cd's, which of course you can preset, random play etc etc.The unit also has a twin tape deck with one touch record.Plus of course a clock and timer facility as well as the usual radio channels. It comes with a remote control so you dont need to leave your chair!!
Overall it looks stylish and performs brilliantly, buy it!...

Review of Panasonic SCDV290 by
jedi_kickass
Advantages: Powerful & Good Quality Sound at 360 Watts RMS, Perfect Picture, Attractive Aesthetics, Good Build, 5 CD changer
Disadvantages: Costs £430, Honks at high volumes
...What did you have for lunch?, I had a SCDV290. Pretty tasty performance & a pretty cute store girl too, though I’d prefer the latter, I guess I am permitted to write only on the Machine. I was passing by the bus depot on my way to college when I spotted a new gal in the Electronics store on the way & a new machine too. The Panasonic SCDV290 looks gorgeous, but remember, every rose has its thorns. Well! What kind of thorns can a Music System have????, I advice you to better read on if you don’t want to get pricked by some. If you don’t read then I’ll haunt your computer forever ( just kidding guys ).
♫♫♫SOUND QUALITY. [4/5]♫♫♫
How many of you like good quality sound?, I suppose all of us do, as long as we are paying for it...

A clear vision
Review of Panasonic PanaSync Pro P70 by
GrahamN
Advantages: Cheaper alternative to Sony product
Disadvantages: Cant think of any
...I got my monitor about 12months ago now and at the time wondered if it owuld be as good as the Sony equivelents and the flatscreen monitors on the market at the time. However I haev been very impressed.
The monitor is 17" and will run pretty much any level of resolution and number of colours as your graphics card can produce, upto 1600x1200.
The monitor is fully plug and play and I have connected it to several machines/operating systems and none of them have had a problem detecting the correct hardware.
The display is very clear and the options to set the display on screen are easy to understand and available in different languages too.
Supporting the ability to change resolution quickly is an added bonus.
All in all a good buy....

Panasonic NV GS17
Review of Panasonic NV GS17 by
cptnmush
Advantages: Zooming in feature, size, functions
Disadvantages: So far, none
...can be twisted in a 360 degrees angle from the centre (where connected).
As i have only occupied one of these for a month, i have found no problems or faults with this awesome piece of equipment. I have used it many times.
No batteries are to be changed, all you do is simply place the battery on a charger and leave it for a few hours, and click it back on the the cam corder. - its 'simple, easy and fast!'
With regards to the ease of button operation, they are right next to your hand when holding it. Basically, you press a little button to display various things on the screen, such as fast forward, rewind, play, stop, etc. To access these, you then push the button towards the appropriate function required by yourself.
In general, this cam corder is an excellent product made by panasonic (as always), and enables you to carry out many...

Entry level camcorders shouldn't be this good!
Review of Panasonic NV GS17 by
chapuk
Advantages: Huge zoom, compact size
Disadvantages: no memory card
...There was a time when entry level camcorders where big, bulky and usually quite poor quality compared to their more expensive counterparts. This is no longer the case. After the hugely successful GS11, panasonic have launched its replacement, the GS17.
Now this is not the smallest, lightest camcorder by far, however, the quality it produces is easily comparable to camcorders further up the range. The main selling point of this camcorder is its huge optical zoom. At 24x this beats the sony HC19 (20X) which was seen as a big step forward. This size zoom gives so much more flexibility to the type of recording you are able to do and also means you do not have to start using the digital zoom, which will lower the image quality. Now this model does not have a memory card for still shots but you are still able to record an image directly onto...

Panasonic Lumix FZ18
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 by
biffo1261
Advantages: Large zoom, small size, extensive ISO rating and Leica lens
Disadvantages: No remote shutter release, facility, no auxiliary flash shoe, a little fragile.
...is a real bonus and coupled with my 1.7x Olympus teleconverter it produces exceptionally long shots. Mind you at that focal length it becomes a real test for the Image Stabilisation system and a test that it fails, sadly. Without the converter the image stabiliser works pretty well and using a tripod has to be accepted with anything over the standard lens. Which makes what I am about say absolutely surprising. Panasonic have produced one of the longest digital lenses on the market yet they do not fit a remote shutter release facility on the FZ18; incredible! Just which of the designers made this omission? To use your long lens and tripod you have to make do with a Universal shutter release adapter Velcroed round the camera body. This in turn causes all sorts of problems when trying to access the controls. Panasonic - this is really shonky...

Must try this one!
Review of Panasonic G600 by
NomG
Advantages: Vibration Alert, Compact
Disadvantages: Ring Tones
...The Panasonic G600 was the first phone that I had, and I must say it was full of exellent features, including vibration alert. It is a small, compact and lightweight phone.
The only disadvantage I felt the phone had was the lack of ring tones. Only 6 were available, and all were very similar.... still there are many good features to compliment the panasonic.
There are two great colours to choose from.
If looking for a new phone with good features and a modern design, the Panasonic G600 is definately a excellent choice....

Get rid of that old home phone
Review of Panasonic KXTCD580 by
wookiee
Advantages: Stylish, Caller Display, Walkie Talkie function
Disadvantages: Dodgy Ring Tones
...Are you looking for a stylish new home phone with all the latest features? Well this is the one for you. The Panasonic KXTCD580 looks great and has all the functionality you expect from a modern cordless digital DECT phone.
What makes this stand apart from the other phones on the market is the stylish base station which plugs into your phone socket. This frees up the handsets and chargers (depending on how many you want upto 6) to be placed anywhere round the house.
The phone does the standard making and receiving of calls, has a large phone number memory (upto 200 can be stored) and has a whole host of additional features:
Digital Answerphone
SMS text messaging
Speakerphone
Polyphonic Ringtones (about 15 - some a bit dodgy!)
Alarm
Vibration alert
17 hour talktime
270 hour standby
Walkie Talkie feature
We have used...

do only looks matter???
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 by
reemi
Advantages: sleek, elegant, sharp, attractive
Disadvantages: picture quality is not that good
...Panasonic has dissappointed us with this product of theirs. It Simply doesnt look to be Panasonic. I have used many 8 mega pixel cameras and this seems to be the worst one. But if you go for the looks and easy handling camera than you could have this as your choice. It has a stylish slim compact body and a wide angle Leica DC lens that can fit a wide image, but you can get this better with a Sony cybershot photography camera, but the cybershot wont be this stylish. Panasonic have got a great feel to the body i must say. It attracts you the moment you see it. A big Lcd adds to the looks. But if Panasonic works on the function aswell as the form, then i suppose there is going to be nothing like this. To people who wana buy this, i would recommend a Cybershot...
