...ranges, which I liked, I lighted upon the Panasonic. Both the size and weight (or lack of both, if you follow me) struck me all of a heap. The thing is about the same bulk as a couple of large Swan-Vestas matchboxes placed side-by-side, and typically weighs less than my wallet. With a nice streamlined body it drops into a pocket with ease, which is actually something of a danger, but we'll come to that in a moment. At least I can forget my wrists. This particular model, it must be emphasised, is not high definition. I wasn't interested in HD for two reasons: we don't need it for family shots and, as a rock-bottom minimum, HD doubles the price. It also produces planet-sized files, and frankly I have better things to do than wait ages while the things load, are edited, and then rendered, quite apart from all the other upgrades necessary...

The perfect camera

...Here is my review on the best digital camera I have owned. I have previously owned around 4 other cameras over the last five years and this one beats all the others by a massive amount. I will start by describing the Panasonic DMC-FZ28. It looks in its appearance very similar to a DSLR albeit much smaller, it has the excellent hand grip on its right handside (just like an DSLR) and on top of this grip is the perfectly placed shutter release button. Obviously the DMC-FZ28 is no pocket sized camera, which you cannot expect with a camera that has an 18x zoom lens (I will cover this later and provide some pictures to show the awesome power and quality of the lens). The camera feels nice and solid in the hand and the ergonomics are excellent. I will now list the buttons/controls that the camera has on it. To be honest the DMC-FZ28...

Making bad photographers into good ones!

...As a model I spend most of my time in front of a camera and I have therefore never owned a good one of my own. Recently I decided to put this right, I did not go crazy and buy a big DSLR like the pros shoot me with but I did spend decent money on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62EB-R which was recommended to me by thebigc1690 (a guy on here who knows a thing or two about cameras and is also one of my photographers. Now my review for this camera will be in no way technical, simply because I would make a fool of myself if I tried to go into how all the settings work, I just know that they do. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62EB-R has a ten megapixel sensor which means you get very high quality and very clear and detailed images and it also has a 4 x optical zoom so you can get a bit closer to what you are shooting without actually getting closer...
