Panasonic Lumix FS7
Advantages: Perfect picture
Disadvantages: None
...I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway.
The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. So there were no qualms on the price.
10.1 Megapixels
Right away we was impressed with the quality of the images this camera was taking, I also test the pictures out on phones and cameras by taking one scenic photo, a photo...

Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom
Advantages: Sturdiness, Ease of use, Autofocus Tracking
Disadvantages: Overshadowed by the TZ7, Tries to do everything for you
...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two.
Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself!
The TZ6 is aimed at people who want to take nice pictures but don't really want to know how those pictures are achieved. Almost everything is designed to be automatic and intuitive, and there is some pretty...

Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality
Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7
Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap
...The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 is a great little camera that I have used to compliment my large DSLR (a Nikon D90 I have also reviewed), which is too big and expensive to be taken everywhere.
Specification
The TZ6 is compact camera with 10.1 MP, which is plenty of pixels for all but the larger prints and harshest crops. This means that in normal conditions there will never be pixelation, in fact too many megapixels squashed onto a sensor can actually reduce the image quality. The most important feature of this camera is the 12x zoom, 25mm wide angle, Leica lens. Leica is a quality brand, and this lens is no exception, it produces quality images and the lens slides out of the camera quickly and smoothly. There is no lens cap, but slide across covers, as in most other digital compacts.
Design
For such a versatile camera, it is...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 - Next best thing to an SLR?
Advantages: Monstrous zoom, Intelligent Auto, Price
Disadvantages: None that occur
...The Lumix FZ28 is an upgrade to the Lumix FZ18 and is almost identical on the surface. The LCD screen is now 2.7", compared with the 2.5" screen on the FZ18 and there is an extra switch on the back now to switch between Recording and Playback mode - which used to be handled via the mode-dial - a definite improvement in my opinion. I understand that not everyone will be upgrading from the earlier model so I will keep this comparison to a minimum from this point in.
The aforementioned LCD screen is the same size as you would find on comparable models such as the Fuji FinePix S1500 or the Canon Powershot SX10 IS, but it is very bright and easy to see, even in sunlight - certainly easier than the Fuji.
The appearance is SLR-like, as is the fashion with these super-zooms, and it feels reassuring to hold with its rubber...

panasonic lumix dmc-fx12
Advantages: Clear Pictures, Liquid Crystal Display, three times zoom.
Disadvantages: Small internal memory. No real disadvantages
....S.O setting and shutter speed according to how fast the subject is moving and the light conditions.
The camera also has a shock absorber, which means if it drops the camera might scratch a little but it wont break or shake inside so that the components malfunction.
The quality of the Picture's are very clear, no blurry images or distorted, and it also offer a three times zoom facility to get close up images.
The software compact disc includes a lumix simple viewer one point two e, which is suitable for both Mac and Windows desktop's. Once the compact disc is installed, the user needs to place the memory card of the camera into the Universal Serial Bus and from then you will see the pictures that have been taken on your camera. The compact disc is straightforward and does not take more than four minutes to successfully install.

Panasonic Lumix FZ18
Advantages: Large zoom, small size, extensive ISO rating and Leica lens
Disadvantages: No remote shutter release, facility, no auxiliary flash shoe, a little fragile.
...) zoom is a real bonus and coupled with my 1.7x Olympus teleconverter it produces exceptionally long shots. Mind you at that focal length it becomes a real test for the Image Stabilisation system and a test that it fails, sadly. Without the converter the image stabiliser works pretty well and using a tripod has to be accepted with anything over the standard lens. Which makes what I am about say absolutely surprising. Panasonic have produced one of the longest digital lenses on the market yet they do not fit a remote shutter release facility on the FZ18; incredible! Just which of the designers made this omission? To use your long lens and tripod you have to make do with a Universal shutter release adapter Velcroed round the camera body. This in turn causes all sorts of problems when trying to access the controls. Panasonic - this is...

Worthy Upgrade over TZ-5
Advantages: 25mm wide angle lens, IA mode, 12x zoom, compact design
Disadvantages: Problem persists in higher ISO setting
...Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7
************************************
Basic Ideas
Panasonic is a leading brand in consumer electronics market with almost all kind of products. We have seen that some of the digital cameras and handy cams are most popular from Panasonic and they are really rocking with excellent quality and features. Technology growth will never end up as it will remain continuous growing status. Whenever we buy most advanced products, there are some lacks of features which we really need or there are some more requirements. These requirements keep technology growth alive and we get something new every time.
Now I am taking an example of digital camera, if we have a look on digital cameras of just before five years than we will see that there was nothing like quality or features. Those cameras were really very bad in...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 - A camera to last you years
Advantages: Great zoom, easy to use
Disadvantages: None
...Having always been a bit of a cheap and cheerful camera buyer, I was a bit nervous spending nearly double what I'd usually spend on a camera. This camera has proved to be beyond value for money though!
The Lumix DMC-TZ5 is a 9.1 megapixel, with a wide angle lens and boasts an awesome 10X optical zoom. It's also a remarkable easy camera to use, a lot of time has gone into setting up the intelligent auto function (which is the main setting you'll use), that means the camera works out what type of photo your taking, adjust for light and does pretty much everything a photographer does (all be it not to the same level of expertise) as you take the photo, meaning amazing shots ever time. That said don't be afraid try to experiment with the manual settings (of which there are many!!) as will a little bit of practice you can get some really...

A great feature-packed camera
Advantages: zoom range, image quality, HD video, size, scene modes
Disadvantages: battery life, noise at high ISO
...Having owned a Fuji F10 (a compact point and shoot) I was used to camera with excellent low light ability. My reasons for replacing were mainly due to the limitations of the Fuji?s 3 times zoom range. Plus the fact I know a few people who have Panasonics, with long zooms, and I was jealous?
So why the Panasonic? Aside from liking the photos I saw from my friend?s Panasonics I read a lot of good reviews. This particular camera seemed to have everything: a very long zoom range including wide angle; optical stabiliser; HD video (wasn?t sure if I wanted this at first); and compact size.
This camera fits in the same case as my Fuji, so size wise it?s great. Small, yet with enough weight to make it feel solid. It?s got good grip for use with just one hand and all of the controls are simple to use and to hand.
I love photography and like to...

Pocket-sized Panasonic produces perfect pictures.
Advantages: Too many to list, please read review.
Disadvantages: Poorly situated controls.
...one is fully water proofed and also shock proof, making it an ideal camera for someone that shoots outdoors and especially someone into things like hill climbing or even skiing or snowboarding.
With all that explained it should therefore be obvious that the unit is robust and well made but it actually does not feel any sturdier or more reassuring than most other compacts but I can vouch for its ability to shoot in and around water without problems because I tried it and the Panasonic rep urged me to knock it about a bit and so I gladly did, I dropped it three feet onto a hard wooden desk and also thumped it quite hard against a stone wall and not even a paint chip to speak of, I am still not sure I would expect this camera to take a lot of this treatment but I have to say that other compacts would have stopped working straight away, so...
