Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway. Worthy Upgrade over TZ-5

Advantages: 25mm wide angle lens, IA mode, 12x zoom, compact design
Disadvantages: Problem persists in higher ISO setting

But I know that in last year Panasonic launched two new models with Panasonic Lumix TZ-4 and Panasonic Lumix TZ-5. Both cameras have similar kind of features but they are slightly different in terms of recording features, Display size and resolution. Panasonic Lumix TZ-5 that is also called as Panasonic Lumix TZ-15 in Asian market, has been provided with superb quality display with large 3.0-inch, 460,000-dot resolution screen. I had this camera and got very excited with this feature. But I was bit disappointed with its picture quality and lack of manual controls. Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 - A camera to last you years

...Having always been a bit of a cheap and cheerful camera buyer, I was a bit nervous spending nearly double what I'd usually spend on a camera. This camera has proved to be beyond value for money though! The Lumix DMC-TZ5 is a 9.1 megapixel, with a wide angle lens and boasts an awesome 10X optical zoom. It's also a remarkable easy camera to use, a lot of time has gone into setting up the intelligent auto function (which is the main setting you'll use), that means the camera works out what type of photo your taking, adjust for light and does pretty much everything a photographer does (all be it not to the same level of expertise) as you take the photo, meaning amazing shots ever time. Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7
Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap

... There are very few other 12 x zoom compacts (I can only think of the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS), so the Panasonic Lumix TZ range pretty much has the market to itself. The TZ6 has the advantage over the TZ5 with and extra 1 megapixel and 2 x zoom, as well as a slightly different styling. As far as I have seen the TZ6 is not thatmuch more expensive than the TZ5, so I found it worth getting the newer model. The TZ7 is the most recent release in the series and is almost exactly the same as the TZ6 both with 10.1 MP and 12x zoom - having seen them together in a shop, they look like carbon copies. The main difference on the TZ7 is the new HD movie mode, which is a feature I would like, but I can't justify spending a significant amount extra for this one feature, as still image quality is the most important aspect for me. Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom

Disadvantages: Overshadowed by the TZ7, Tries to do everything for you

...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 - Next best thing to an SLR?

...Firstly, I would like to comment on pictures quality that is made by this camera. In my opinion it is quite good. It has 12 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens. The lens has wide angle capabilities. Camera has all basic features needed for a simple compactable digital camera. There are not very much extra features, but that is not very bad, becouse too many extra features also makes the camera harder to use. I will continue on commenting about the use of the camera. It is very simple. Even my father, who is bad at using such kind of cameras, clearly understands how to use it.
