Reviews of panasonic lumix dmc -fx12
A camera you will love.
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 by
JJGEight
Advantages: Face detection, great look, high quality photos.
Disadvantages: Little memory, could have higher pixel count.
...The Panasonic Lumix camera is a truly wonderful piece of hardware. The whole camera is a masterpiece. It has 7.2 megapixels inside of it working with a superb 3x optical zoom. The display on the camera is just as good. It is an LCD screen but does make the pictures look worse than they acctually do (if you look at pictures of yourself on this camera it truly does destroy your self esteme, but that just shows how detailed the pictures are). The camera is also very compact and comes with a nice wrist strap so if your one of those people who have a tendice to drop things, you wont drop this. The face detection system is pretty awsome, I have taken a photo of about 15 faces before and it picked up all of them with there own focus square which makes any group photo look as good as any proffesional one. As you can see by the picture the design...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 by
costas1234
Advantages: Clear Pictures, LCD, 3x zoom, £100 value buy
Disadvantages: Small internal memory. No real disadvantages
...conditions.
The camera also has a shock absorber, which means if it drops the camera might scratch a little but it wont break or shake inside so that the components malfunction.
The quality of the pictures are very clear, no blurry images or distorted, and it also offer a 3x zoom facility to get close up images.
The software CD includes a Lumix simple viewer 1.2E, which is suitable for both Mac and Windows PCs. Once the CD is installed, the user needs to place the Memory card of the Camera into the USB and from then you will see the pictures that have been taken on your camera. The CD is straightforward and does not take more than 4 minutes to successfully install.
For £100 the camera is a great value purchase, i honestly cant think of a disadvantage for this item. My sentiment is buy....

do only looks matter???
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 by
reemi
Advantages: sleek, elegant, sharp, attractive
Disadvantages: picture quality is not that good
...Panasonic has dissappointed us with this product of theirs. It Simply doesnt look to be Panasonic. I have used many 8 mega pixel cameras and this seems to be the worst one. But if you go for the looks and easy handling camera than you could have this as your choice. It has a stylish slim compact body and a wide angle Leica DC lens that can fit a wide image, but you can get this better with a Sony cybershot photography camera, but the cybershot wont be this stylish. Panasonic have got a great feel to the body i must say. It attracts you the moment you see it. A big Lcd adds to the looks. But if Panasonic works on the function aswell as the form, then i suppose there is going to be nothing like this. To people who wana buy this, i would recommend a Cybershot...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX55
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX55 by

Advantages: Smal and compact. Great picture Quality.
Disadvantages: screen can be rather difficult to see.
...I recently bought this camera as an upgrade for my more older 3MP camera, and i was very stunned by its quality of pictures. its boasts a stunning 3 inch LCD screen, which is just perfect for a camera of this size. the camera comes with a leica lens capable of shooting beautifull wide angle pictures. This Camera only weighs only 143 grams. The camera is a great entry level camera and is great for taking those everyday pictures. At full image resolution the camera has an average ISO of around 1600, alowing darker pictures to be more clear. i would recomend this camera to anyone looking to upgrade from an old 3/4MP camera to this stunning piece of technology. Yet another great addition the the FX range....

Panasonic Lumix DMC FS3-Simple and quality
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC FS3 by
Foxy1212
Advantages: value, zoom, features
Disadvantages: probably not to good for advanced photography
...I am no photography expert I must admit, so when looking for a digital camera whilst in New York, i asked the shopkeeper for some assistance and he reccomended me this panasonic lumix camera. I have been more than happy with his reccomendation ever since, having found the camera very easy to use, but also capable of taking very high quality photographs. I would reccomend this above Samsung and Fuji cameras I have had in the past.
The zoom is excellent, very defined, and the camera offers a burst feature, which allows you to take a series of photos, excellent for a moving object, and then choose your favourite one. Having been bought for less than £80 equivalent I am very pleased to have chosen this camera, as for someone who wants photos of travels and everyday life, it has more than i need, but is not at all confusing. It also comes...

Panasonic changed my view
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC40 by
RainDance
Advantages: Very realistic photos
Disadvantages: Zoon not large enough
...I absolutely love the Panasonic Lumix digital camera. I have never in my life seen a camera produce such professional quality pictures.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC40 is an amazing little piece of equipment. It offers a 3.0 mega pixel picture quality and even a 30 second video capture capability with sound. The best thing about digital cameras is that you no longer need to purchase film. A small memory stick will do the trick. The Lumix comes supplied with an 8 megabyte memory stick which is capable of holding up to 45 pictures. You can purchase higher megabyte cards to hold even more pictures. The Lumix has an LCD screen on the back so that you may view your picture as soon as you take it. If you don't like it, you can just delete it!
With the Lumix LCD screen you get an on screen menu full of options. You can delete one or all of your...

Panasonic DMC FX33
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 by
tangentman
Advantages: nice viewing screen
Disadvantages: Doesn't take good pictures
...Having had this camera for a little over 5 months now, i can safely say it is probably one of the worst i have ever had the misfortune to use.
Handling and feel.
top marks for these, it is a cool looking camera, and very useful for taking with you. That aside it is hardly what you purchase a camera for in the first instance.
Quality and results
quality and results show very poor performance which tends to rival those cameras that you would expect to pay around £50.00 for. whilst panasonic is certainly a leading name in electronics, Lieca is a leading name in optics. A marrige of the two has shown itself to be completely lacking in both.
quite frankly, for taking half decent pictures look elesewhere. My money was wsted on this purchase.
I have a cheap 6m Kodak DX 7630 which produces far better pictures, under all conditions.
Be advised...

Top of the camera ladder
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 by
AJRAD
Advantages: great size, high quality image output, easy to use, indestructible, plenty of extra stuff
Disadvantages: none at all
..., could be said to purify photos. Venus Engine III is traditionally used by Panasonic and is a wonderful image processing engine that, in my opinion, is flawless. The camera has Intelligent ISO Control and achieves ISO 1250 at full resolution.
4. Durability/Indestructibility
I was using this camera when I was on holiday in spain, dropped it down a (smallish) rocky cliff and it didn't break. I'm sure that can be counted as durable. It barely even scratched. I'm a clumsy sort of guy and if an electronic devices survives me then it is worth buying just for that.
5. Usability
The screen on this camera is about 6cm (2.5 inches) diagonally, and the menus are very easily navigated, the on button is easy to find (that's more important than it sounds) and don't forget the processing bit - hooking it up to a pc and transferring the images could...
