Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7

...I recently bought this camera as an upgrade for my more older 3MP camera, and i was very stunned by its quality of pictures. its boasts a stunning 3 inch LCD screen, which is just perfect for a camera of this size. the camera comes with a leica lens capable of shooting beautifull wide angle pictures. This Camera only weighs only 143 grams. The camera is a great entry level camera and is great for taking those everyday pictures. At full image resolution the camera has an average ISO of around 1600, alowing darker pictures to be more clear. i would recomend this camera to anyone looking to upgrade from an old 3/4MP camera to this stunning piece of technology. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 - Next best thing to an SLR?

...The Lumix FZ28 is an upgrade to the Lumix FZ18 and is almost identical on the surface. The LCD screen is now 2.7", compared with the 2.5" screen on the FZ18 and there is an extra switch on the back now to switch between Recording and Playback mode - which used to be handled via the mode-dial - a definite improvement in my opinion. I understand that not everyone will be upgrading from the earlier model so I will keep this comparison to a minimum from this point in.
