Panasonic NV GS17
Advantages: Zooming in feature, size, functions
Disadvantages: So far, none
..., of which can be twisted in a 360 degrees angle from the centre (where connected).
As i have only occupied one of these for a month, i have found no problems or faults with this awesome piece of equipment. I have used it many times.
No batteries are to be changed, all you do is simply place the battery on a charger and leave it for a few hours, and click it back on the the cam corder. - its 'simple, easy and fast!'
With regards to the ease of button operation, they are right next to your hand when holding it. Basically, you press a little button to display various things on the screen, such as fast forward, rewind, play, stop, etc. To access these, you then push the button towards the appropriate function required by yourself.
In general, this cam corder is an excellent product made by panasonic (as always), and enables you to carry...

Panasonic NV-GS180
Advantages: Best value for money QUALITY Video + Great Price = Value
Disadvantages: Software is not the best out there. But you can use windows movie maker easyly
...The Panasonic NV-GS180... Having a 3CCD camcorder is the best thing in the camcorder world. 3CCD is the technology used in news/TV cameras to give you that crystal clear cut video!!! And i must say, this camera is the best i have seen around, for the price as well as the quality.
It has plenty of functions to fiddle around with, but the end all is that the video quality is fantastic and i reccomend anyone starting off from making their own home videos, to videoing as a hobby (Youtube), this is the best camera you can use. Its the best value for money as its not expensive at all compared to other 3CCD cameras which range to £1000 and more easyly!
Panasonic have been able to cut the costs down due to the fact that it uses DV cassettes. Which are more reliable in terms of not getting damaged that easyly.
The software (pinnacle...

Panasonic nv-gs11b
Advantages: Great Quality
Disadvantages: Poor Battery Life
...I am reviewing my new video camera - A panasonic NV GS11B - An excellent camera for personal use, Made in Japan
I am using this camera to video a fictional crime scene - an assignment. And having never using a video camera before i was dreading even touching it incase i done something wrong.
The Packaging
before i purchased my camera I read through the packaging to find out all the features which were included, and i personally really liked how the packaging was layed out. It was not cluttered with text and pictures, everything was well layed out and structured. A Blue & White background with black and white text.
A picture of the camera was also there and a list of accessories.
Looking at the packaging, made me feel confident and wanting to puchase IT. Packaging that is cluttered with text, no one will want to read it...

Fantastic Funky Maclaren MX3
Advantages: Really funky looking, easy to steer, loads of storage, from birth, travel system
Disadvantages: Can't hang bags off handle
...on that as haven't got it.
Our MX3 buggy has a different coloured pram liner in lime which looks REALLY good against the storm grey. The harness is excellent, and the nicely padded and comfy seat reclines fully so you can use the 'buggy only option' from birth if you didn't want to buy the whole travel system.
The Maclaren MX3 is incredibly easy to steer, not really wide like a lot of three wheelers, (good for shopping), very large shopping basket, easy to clean, very funky looking. It feels sturdy, but although not a lightweight buggy it's still under 10 kg.
The Maclaren MX3 is 'all terrain' but I've only tried it a couple of times on rough ground - it is very good however.Wheels are large and plastic - despite not being air tyres, suspension seemed really good and it has the facility to lock the front wheel if you want take it...

The Panasonic NV DS29B - What Its Like.
Advantages: Good Average Weight, Very Simple To Use.
Disadvantages: Menus Quite Hard To Navigate.
...understand. The main two difficulties I found with the camera was navigating the cameras menus and remembering which cables go where when connecting it to the television. When going thorough the menus you use the vertical scrolling wheel that is also be pressed to select. Unless you press it properly you may turn the wheel as well, this can get very annoying indeed! However, overall it is fairly easy to use.
I would say that the durability on this camera is very good but to make it like this Panasonic have also had to add weight. However, it is has an average weight, which is good for average time filming. If you do wish to make longer movies, e.g. 15+ minutes, I would recommend buying a tripod.
I would say that the Panasonic NV DS29B has a very good range and quality of features for the average Joe. Some of this includes screen effects like...

Panasonic NV-GS75: Review from a student filmmaker
Advantages: 3CCD, Firewire Compatability, Near Broadcast Quality, Large Screen, Audio Pickup
Disadvantages: Not a huge amount of manual functions
...I brought this camera for one reason and it has served its purpose not only how I wanted it to, but it has surpassed its expectations. The purpose was filmmaking.
The selling point of this camera is the fact that it uses 3CCD technology. The point of this 3CCD technology in filmmaking is that 3CCD cameras have three separate charge-coupled devices, each one taking a separate measurement of red, green, and blue light. Light coming into the lens is split by a dichroic prism, which directs the appropriate wavelengths of light to its respective CCD. This enables me to pick up fantastic imagery weather it be at night or during the day without loss of colour or clarity. This camera was probably the cheapest mid-range 3CCD camera available at the time.
I have completed 4 pieces of short film and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro 7...

Panasonic Lumix FS7
Advantages: Perfect picture
Disadvantages: None
...I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway.
The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. So there were no qualms on the price.
10.1 Megapixels
Right away we was impressed with the quality of the images this camera was taking, I also test the pictures out on phones and cameras by taking one scenic photo, a photo...

NV-DS27 - Advanced camera at low price
Advantages: Small, versatile, relatively easy to use.
Disadvantages: Less computer compatibility for editing, etc. Small buttons.
...Pansonic's NV-DS27 has been released for a while now, and in some countries has been replaced by the DS30 and DS50 cameras.
At the Lincoln High School Music Dept., the NV-DS27 has had some very thorough testing. It is one of the two cameras owned by the department, and are used frequently for filming of music concerts, assessments and other events. I was one of the technicians using the camera.
The DS27 is a very versatile camera. It has all the features needed for home use, including 400x Digital Zoom, 2.5" Color LCD monitor, zoom mic, 0 lux night shot, image stabilizer, and color viewfinder. It also has digital effects options, as well as being able to take stillshots onto the SD Memory card.
It is very compact. Its small size was a drawback for professional use; when needing to use different options quickly, the buttons are...

Embarrassingly Unfashionable
Advantages: Very affordable, reasonably high quality
Disadvantages: Not very attractive, poor battery-life
...extremely high compared to other video-cameras, at 3.1 megapixels, it fails to rival your average digital camera. But, obviously, this is not the device?s main function, and its film quality is undoubtedly above average in this price range. The camera also does well in terms of audio quality. Using a standard built-in microphone, sounds and voices can be heard clearly on playback, and, in my experience, muffled audio is almost non-existent, with a wind noise reduction system also helping to reduce the sound of outdoor gusts.
At the fairly low price, compared to many other cameras, of £329.99, this model delivers film, audio, and even still images, at an impressive quality, providing the user with clear value for money.
Functions
The primary function of the Panasonic NV GS320 is, unsurprisingly, to record videos. As we have seen, it...

Panasonic NV GS75. 3ccd Clarity
Advantages: Clear, sharp clutter free footage, chunky, easy to use
Disadvantages: No DV in - Mic socket not standard.
...I always have chosen Sony in the past for the family camcorder as they have never let me down. I just sold my Sony HC18 ( I never keep Technology for too long - move on!). I wanted a 3ccd camera to see just how much better they are. Whats all the fuss about? I was pleasently suprised. For the same money as a 1 chip Sony I got a 3 chip and what a difference! On the new large LCD TV it was amazing. The GS75 gave an almost "news at 10" clarity. Colours were vibrant and edge to edge sharp. The Camera is light and chunky at the same time. A good size for my large hands. The joystick menu controls took me 10 minutes to master and the little screen was good to view close to the eye. It has a DV out - direct to the laptop and a MIC, Headphone and AV socket. (careful here - the Mic does not have the standard Jack) SVHS out is there too. Not many...
