Panasonic sc pt450 WOW WOW WOW
Review of Panasonic SC PT450 by
liamwhitney
Advantages: Superior power (1000watts), stylish, HDMI upscaling, AV inputs
Disadvantages: None
...I bought this Home cinema system from curry's about 1 month ago, I paid £149.99 it has since gone back up to £189.99.
After exstensive searching to find the right system for my money which was a choice between the panasonic, a sony, a samsung or a phillips to say the least I was a little torn in my decision they all offered value for money.
I decided to go for the Panasonic to my delight I rushed home to try it out and I was disapointed with my choice as I had to return it the next day due to it being faulty. I was discouraged from getting the same model, however after speaking to a member of staff in curry's he played all the systems I was interested in and to say the least the Panasonic stood out imensly.
The sound quality was by far superior to all the rest in this price bracket even turned up to maximum volume...

Puts the cinema into home cinema
Review of Panasonic PT-AE900E by
Krnries
Advantages: No screen door effect, high contrast ratio, cinema colour, quiet, all the inputs you need
Disadvantages: there really are no significant disadvantages
...The Panasonic PT-AE900 projector is the latest and most impressive projector in the award winning PT-AE series. It is a true high definition progressive scan 16:9 projector with a native resolution of 1280 by 720. This liquid crystal display projector challenges the picture quality; smoothness and contrast of the more expensive digital light processing models. The on screen image can truly be described as cinema quality.
Here are some of the features:
1100 ANSI Lumens brightness
25 db operating noise
5500:1 contrast ratio
720p resolution
+/- 30% keystone vertical correction
Manual zoom
Manual focus
Min 1.2m to max 12.4m projection distance
Front / Rear / Ceiling projection

Great picture , great TV. TX47 PT1 and PT10
Review of Panasonic TX 47 PT 1F by
viiiper
Advantages: Picture quality stunning, panasonic auto size brill.
Disadvantages: no external speakers supplied, only one RGB scart [4 AV total]
...of a TV is the Picture !!! and this one gets 5 stars !!! [sounds ok too], read 'What Tv and Video' Apr 1999 review [got 5 stars then and they still give it's replacment 5 stars ]. The newer TX47 PT10 replaced it in 2002 and uses the same picture tubes, so thats saying something about the quality of the electronics.
Main features that make this TV shine are: 100Hz [no flicker] picture, Digital picture noise reduction [ no grain], non-reflective 47 inch screen, high picture quality even in a brightly lit room, An extra wide viewing angle (160° horizontal and 86° vertical),and mutch more !!!!
To conclude: if i was buying today, I would still put this TV in my top 5 !!! [ 4 years on ]....

Fantastic sounds all around from my surround!
Review of Panasonic SC-PT 150 by
andycharger
Advantages: Great sound and price
Disadvantages: Looks a bit dated and remote fiddly
...in an era when TVs, DVD players and Home theatre systems are slipping back into the "black shiny" look and feel, the retro feel Panasonic PT-150 is a sure winner with me.
Reason for purchase.
After setting up my old fireplace as a "hole in the wall" entertainment system, I experienced one major problem with my Sony surround sount system. It stopped working. Reason being that old soot and debris had fallen down the chimney and filtered through the air vents into the workings and shorted it out!
Not to be put off my my idea, i fixed the falling soot problem (expensive lesson!) and set out to buy a replacement Surround sound that fitted with the room and matched the other items.
This would need it to be Silver in colour, the same width dimensions as the Sony ( to fit on the mounts) and thin in height (to fit in the narrow clearance...

Must try this one!
Review of Panasonic G600 by
NomG
Advantages: Vibration Alert, Compact
Disadvantages: Ring Tones
...The Panasonic G600 was the first phone that I had, and I must say it was full of exellent features, including vibration alert. It is a small, compact and lightweight phone.
The only disadvantage I felt the phone had was the lack of ring tones. Only 6 were available, and all were very similar.... still there are many good features to compliment the panasonic.
There are two great colours to choose from.
If looking for a new phone with good features and a modern design, the Panasonic G600 is definately a excellent choice....

do only looks matter???
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 by
reemi
Advantages: sleek, elegant, sharp, attractive
Disadvantages: picture quality is not that good
...Panasonic has dissappointed us with this product of theirs. It Simply doesnt look to be Panasonic. I have used many 8 mega pixel cameras and this seems to be the worst one. But if you go for the looks and easy handling camera than you could have this as your choice. It has a stylish slim compact body and a wide angle Leica DC lens that can fit a wide image, but you can get this better with a Sony cybershot photography camera, but the cybershot wont be this stylish. Panasonic have got a great feel to the body i must say. It attracts you the moment you see it. A big Lcd adds to the looks. But if Panasonic works on the function aswell as the form, then i suppose there is going to be nothing like this. To people who wana buy this, i would recommend a Cybershot...

Didn`t realise how bad it was until replaced
Review of Panasonic TUCT20 by
gecko24
Advantages: Small, compact, attractive
Disadvantages: poor reliability
...I bought the Panasonic TUCT20 about 3 1/2 years ago from Argos for about £100. I went for Panasonic as I already had a few of their products and found them to be good quality.
The Digi box itself is really small and compact, about the size of a video tape box.
I bought it because I wanted to be able to receive Cbeebies for my children. Unfortunately, this was the very channel that this digibox failed to receive properly! I phoned Panasonic and they said it was down to arial reception, certain channels receive weak signals.
I experienced quite a few problems with my digibox, namely picture freezing and no service. The unit frequently failed to respond to the remote control, particularly the on/off button and I had to resort to turning the unit off at the wall to reset it.
Eventually the remote control gave up completely and I had...

In car charger warning
Review of Panasonic G520 by
jmacleod
Advantages: Vibrates, Pay as you go
Disadvantages: All memories in the SIM not the phone
...Just a warning about using a propriatary in car charger with the Panasonic G520. DON'T
This is a great phone and is one of the best value pay as you go phones. If you are tempted to save a bit of cash and go for a cheap in car charger just don't. I bought an in car charger from LINK and it fried the phone within a day. Symptoms were turning itself off at random intervals (sometimes only minutes).
I bought another one and used a genuine Panasonic charger and have had no problems with it....

A TV THAT KNOCKS THE SOCKS OFF ITS COMPETITORS
Review of Panasonic TH-50 PZ 70 by
jonnydeppontv
Advantages: Perfect Picture Quality, Sexy looking and HUGE
Disadvantages: Scart plugs
...When husband decided to change our 4 year old Sony Widescreen TV for an LCD from the same company - I told him to wait and look around. I also asked what's wrong with Plasmas. He told me he was unsure but had heard bad things - picture quality etc - so we decided to check it out first before making a mistake.
Off we went to Trafford Centre and looked around - we were given various bits of advice but the best received was in Selfridges. The sales man pointed out 2 TVs next to each other - he asked us to choose the best picture quality - we chose the Panasonic, the picture quality was unbelievably better compared to the LCD and the other plasmas next to it. So we decided to shop around.
Few weeks later we found one - the 50" all new Viera Panasonic Plasma - TH-50PZ70. I was a bit dubious - its huge -will it look out of place in our...

Panasonic Breadmaker 200
Review of Panasonic SD-200 by
Mimmimm
Advantages: Easy to use, simple directions, cooks to perfection.
Disadvantages: Cleaning oven interior. Decrumbing.
...A total cop out of doing the beadmaking, romanced me into buying a bread maker. Shopping around I found that the Panasonic suited my requirements. Simple directions on how to use. A nice selection of recipies and a large capacity.
Whilst I do enjoy making bread by hand, having a Panasonic bread maker allows me to spend more time doing other things I enjoy as well.
My only gripe is, cleaning the oven, not the bowl. I find it is not a matter of, simply wipe out, there is residue of splattered flour which burns onto the metal surface leaving marks which appear to burn into the metal which would need steel wool or oven cleaner to get it out. * NEITHER I would use.
It does not appear to have affected the machine's performance but does look as if I don't bother to clean it out.
Cleaning crumbs out also, is not a matter of dropping...
