Cool Stereo!
Review of Panasonic SC-AK 17 by
broksababe
Advantages: looks stylish
Disadvantages: none
...I bought a panasonic skaa17 a few months back and it is an excellent choice, the first thing that attracted me to it was all the flashing lights on the front, sort of a little display that looks like a space invaders game!!, but the rest of it is excellent too, you can choose from various presets to enhance the sound of your music, such as rock, hall, flat, heavy!!
It also takes a generous 5 cd's, which of course you can preset, random play etc etc.The unit also has a twin tape deck with one touch record.Plus of course a clock and timer facility as well as the usual radio channels. It comes with a remote control so you dont need to leave your chair!!
Overall it looks stylish and performs brilliantly, buy it!...

A teeny system
Review of Panasonic SA-AK25 by
Eatcha
Advantages: Cheap and cheerful
Disadvantages: all in one?
...If you want really awesome sound quality along with nice looking, I'd suggest buying the SC-AK27.
It is an awesome component and instead of black as the main color it has a silver face which makes it even more enjoyable to look at. It has two nice subs on its speakers along with a 5 CD changer and a dual cassette player.
Its demo mode is a bit crapy with dum pop up lines that arent really in time but it does also have a bass ticker which watches all the beats (not a common function!!). Overall, if you are looking for an average piece of machinery and a nice looking one, SC-AK27 is an ok choice. its kind of a teenage choice they throw it away after a bit once they know what Hi-Fi actually suits them but until then fingure's in the ears!!
hey if you like to cycle check my other solid reviews out especially if your from Yorkshire were...

Panasonic sc pt450 WOW WOW WOW
Review of Panasonic SC PT450 by
liamwhitney
Advantages: Superior power (1000watts), stylish, HDMI upscaling, AV inputs
Disadvantages: None
...I bought this Home cinema system from curry's about 1 month ago, I paid £149.99 it has since gone back up to £189.99.
After exstensive searching to find the right system for my money which was a choice between the panasonic, a sony, a samsung or a phillips to say the least I was a little torn in my decision they all offered value for money.
I decided to go for the Panasonic to my delight I rushed home to try it out and I was disapointed with my choice as I had to return it the next day due to it being faulty. I was discouraged from getting the same model, however after speaking to a member of staff in curry's he played all the systems I was interested in and to say the least the Panasonic stood out imensly.
The sound quality was by far superior to all the rest in this price bracket even turned up to maximum volume...

A hifi system with voomph
Review of Panasonic SC-AK 210 by
nancyoshea
Advantages: Wonderful sound, good choice of features, fairly well priced
Disadvantages: A little odd to look at and there are too many wires around.
...Last year my son bought me a nice new music centre for my birthday. Because my old one was old enough to be an antique he said he he.
The Panasonic SC 210 cost him £179.99 from Curry's which he said was excellent value.
I am more into the old record players myself but with records not being popular anymore and cd's taking over the trade, I suppose I had no choice but to move on with the times.
At first glance I thought this hifi was something out of an old space movie, its gleaming silver appearance and countless flashing lights were a long shot from my old wooden record player, very futuristic looking.
The speakers are huge and have an almost glow in the dark blue mettalic setting.
It has two surround sound speakers which are simple in design and black but perfectly shaped to fit into the corner of a room.
The hifi has a cd player...

The daddy
Review of Panasonic SC-AK 28 by
BennyRialto
Advantages: top sound, 5 CDs, all on remote... classic
Disadvantages: ask me in six months!
...; where ‘student’ had one been emblazoned across my forehead, I thought I’d go for it and splash out. Which is how I ended up in Argos spending £230 – a sum otherwise known as AllTheMoneyIHadAtTheTime – on the Panasonic SC-AK 28. I only hoped it would be worth the four torn arm muscles it took to carry the f***er home. Excuse my French.
Well, what can I say? Inevitably by the time I post this review it will have fallen apart faster than Tim Henman in a pressure tennis game, but for now it’s my baby. Almost as sexy as Kate Winslet in a bath of champagne – I did say almost! – it has a five CD changer, two tape decks, and radio with a whole bundle of preset stations. There’s an optical line-in for recording to minidisc, and something called a Super Woofer. I always assumed that was a name...

Get into the Groove!
Review of Panasonic SC-AK 44 by
minichar
Advantages: Great speakers, loads of features
Disadvantages: The annoying demo!
...about this stereo is the remote control: it has numbers on it which means you can press the number of the CD track you want rather than having to skip past all the others to get to the one you want (I have now reached new levels of laziness!). I’m also very impressed that you can set the stereo to turn off after ten minutes if no music has been playing and hasn’t been used in that time, which I find to be quite handy because I have a habit of accidently leaving things on!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this stereo to anyone wanting a decent, reliable sound system. In my experience, Panasonic is a very good brand and worth the money. It may not have surround sound, but it’s got just about everything else, and the speakers are great considering there are only two of them. I have certainly not been disappointed with my stereo, and it has...

The best sound!
Review of Panasonic SC-PM 21 by
supertsik
Advantages: Amazing Sound!
Disadvantages: AUX IN missing
...I was in a shop asking about some Sony models. The guy then told me: "Have you ever listened to this Panasonic (PM21 and PM31)? Everyone that listens to it buys it immediately". I said OK, let's try it. I was really amazed by its performance. I took out the CD and put it in every Hi-Fi that was on display. I couldn't believe how noticeable the difference was.
The Bi-Amp technology means that the sound is split to high pitch and low pitch before it is amplified. Therefore, two pairs of cables go to each speaker.
As of its features, it is what you see on the description. It has a single CD and it can play MP3s. The menu is all right and you can control everything from the remote control. The AUX RCA connection is missing so you cannot connect your PC, your DVD or any other device.
If you can spend a bit more money and want something...
