Panasonic Lumix FS7

...I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway. The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. I Admit It, I'm A Panasonic Loaf Lover!

Advantages: Gorgeous bread, easy to make, easy to use, cheap bread, healthier
Disadvantages: Initial outlay but worth the investment.

Review of Panasonic DIGA DMR-EX79

Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7
Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap

... There are very few other 12 x zoom compacts (I can only think of the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS), so the Panasonic Lumix TZ range pretty much has the market to itself. The TZ6 has the advantage over the TZ5 with and extra 1 megapixel and 2 x zoom, as well as a slightly different styling. As far as I have seen the TZ6 is not thatmuch more expensive than the TZ5, so I found it worth getting the newer model. The TZ7 is the most recent release in the series and is almost exactly the same as the TZ6 both with 10.1 MP and 12x zoom - having seen them together in a shop, they look like carbon copies. The main difference on the TZ7 is the new HD movie mode, which is a feature I would like, but I can't justify spending a significant amount extra for this one feature, as still image quality is the most important aspect for me. Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom

Advantages: Sturdiness, Ease of use, Autofocus Tracking
Disadvantages: Overshadowed by the TZ7, Tries to do everything for you

...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself! Brilliant Bread Every Time - Panasonic SD 254

Advantages: The best bread you will ever taste, on a timer just ready in time for breakfast.
Disadvantages: If you can't wait since it smells so good... you might burn your fingers like me!

The supplied bread cook book that comes with the machine gives recipes for all sorts of bread to pastries and speciality loafs such as gingerbread. I ordered a bread maker cookbook for £9.99 of Amazon but have to admit I flicked through it and used one recipe then went back to Panasonic's own free cookbook since it excellent. I have found few issues with this machine other than the fact that the bread smells so good I often find I cannot wait for it and end up burning my fingers on the bread tin when I try to remove the bread before it has cooled properly, but then this is hardly a manufacturer?s design fault! Look and Design It's of a reasonable size and weight and fits easily into an average cabinet. It has width: 430mm, depth: 330mm and height: 59mm. It weighs 3.2 kg It isn't overly flashy and just looks like an average DVD player. But this also means it blends in quite well and doesn't contrast with anything. Another great offering from Panasonic

Advantages: Great black levels, terrific contrast and detail, freesat tuner
