* The PANASONIC Viera Duckworth likes. . .

Advantages: Brill picture, brill sound. Flat as a pancake.
Disadvantages: Price!!!

...RG12 8FP United Kingdom They also have a national Logistics Centre in Northampton, Viera link - never heard of it? Neither had I, it is simply a piece of software, which will enable you to use just one single remote control, to operate anything connected to your TV, all equipment has of course to be made by Panasonic! Connectivity is everything, This includes Scart, Component, PC and HDMI terminals to allow connection to all technology we have now, as well as for the foreseeable future. The list of things I have not even started to understand, includes advanced 3D colour management, digital optimiser, motion pattern noise reduction and sub-pixel controller, everything but a teasmade then! Sound. OK the sound is very very much up to you, there are so many different settings you would need to read up before even attempting...

Panasonic Plasma TV - 42 inch Viera One Glass

Advantages: Too many to list
Disadvantages: pricey

...When looking for TV's these days, it helps to have research done as what the TV's are all about these days, what you get for your money, and how technically minded you are, Today, you either get Plasma or LCD with most of the old Cathode Ray Tubes(CRTs) phased out. One such model is PZ800B model 42 inch made by Panasonic. This range of TV is claimed to be the top of the award winning VIERA range from Panasonic. If you do not want to comprimise on quality, then believe this is the TV you want to go for. SIZE This model is 42 inch and also available in 50 inch. So when choosing any TV, make sure it fits! Unless of course you hang with a wall bracket on the wall. APPEARANCE Panasonic call this design 'one sheet of glass' and boy you can really appreciate it when you place it on the purpose built stand...

Panasonic TX-32LZD81 with FreeSat tuner

Advantages: Built-in Freesat tuner in a state-of-the-art digital HD 1020p LCD TV.
Disadvantages: None at the price.

...I consulted Which? magazine before buying my first LCD HD TV and the Panasonic TX-32LZD80 came highly recommended so I visited Richer Sounds to get one but unfortunately they had just sold the last one in stock. However they had one left of this newer TX-32LZD81 model at just £20 more at £499.95 which I understand is the same as the TX-32LZD80 but it has a built-in Freesat tuner. I also bought a 5 year extended warranty from Richer Sounds for another £50. It was a doddle to set up, I simply plugged in my existing terrestrial and Sky satellite aerials into it, switched it on and it automatically started searching for both terrestrial and Freesat channels, and within two minutes it had found the lot. After entering my post-code which it uses to sort the Freesat channels and answering a couple more set up questions away it went and 30...

Panasonic TX-37LZD81 with built in Freesat

Advantages: Excellent picture and sound, built in Freesat, user friendly
Disadvantages: I haven't found any yet.

...I searched for weeks trying to find an LCD TV that would fit our lifestyle and settled on the 37" Panasonic with Freesat built in. We have only had it for a month or so but it is everything I could have hoped for. It has a lovely picture and nicam sound and the 37" is just right for our smaller room. There is a good range of free programmes and we can still access Freeserve to watch Dave and the other range of shows not listed on Freesat. With no monthly subscription to pay what more can one ask? The controls are easy to use and set up took no time at all. There are multiple plug- ins to enable computer use and viewing from cameras and of course DVDs etc. We were lucky in that we got a free dish installation when we bought it from Comet but if anyone already has a dish it should work just as well. It is also an attractive feature to...

Panasonic nearly perfect as usual

Advantages: excellent picture, lots of inputs and very stylish
Disadvantages: not great sound

...The Panasonic Viera is truly a great TV, and as usual, I had looked around many review websites before I finally settled on this product. It really is 42 inches of viewing pleasure, especially with it being 1080p, which really gives a crisp and clear picture. For all the techies out there who love the specifications, it comes with 2 scart inputs and 3 HDMI inputs and a contrast ratio of 30000:1 which makes it ideal for those that like to hook their xBox up to the television. The television itself is extremely easy to set up and is very stylish in appearance and the colour reproduction and black levels are second to none, it genuinely is an excellent television. The only slight downside is that the sound isnt amazing from the television speakers, but this is to be expected i suppose - you really need to invest in a good surround...

Review of Panasonic Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ80

Another great offering from Panasonic

Advantages: Great black levels, terrific contrast and detail, freesat tuner
Disadvantages: The sound is somewhat average

...of this television not only requires an outstanding picture quality but also in this competitive market sector it needs additional features. Panasonic offer this in the form of a Freesat tuner which unlike Freeview gives the viewer a greater number of free television channels to choose from. Providing of course you have a Freesat dish installed on your house. If you don't already have this installed, then you shouldn't fear because the analogue tuner offers a smooth natural coloured picture. However where this television will really shine is when playing either DVD's or Blu Ray discs. Firstly when watching DVD's the black levels offered by this television are very deep which only adds to the atmosphere of a film. The detail levels are very good and the contrast as you might expect from the marketed "infinite" tag are excellent. The colours...

Panasonic Lumix FS7

Advantages: Perfect picture
Disadvantages: None

...I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway. The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. So there were no qualms on the price. 10.1 Megapixels Right away we was impressed with the quality of the images this camera was taking, I also test the pictures out on phones and cameras by taking one scenic photo, a photo...

Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7
Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap

...The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 is a great little camera that I have used to compliment my large DSLR (a Nikon D90 I have also reviewed), which is too big and expensive to be taken everywhere. Specification The TZ6 is compact camera with 10.1 MP, which is plenty of pixels for all but the larger prints and harshest crops. This means that in normal conditions there will never be pixelation, in fact too many megapixels squashed onto a sensor can actually reduce the image quality. The most important feature of this camera is the 12x zoom, 25mm wide angle, Leica lens. Leica is a quality brand, and this lens is no exception, it produces quality images and the lens slides out of the camera quickly and smoothly. There is no lens cap, but slide across covers, as in most other digital compacts. Design For such a versatile camera, it is...

Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ6

Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom

Advantages: Sturdiness, Ease of use, Autofocus Tracking
Disadvantages: Overshadowed by the TZ7, Tries to do everything for you

...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself! The TZ6 is aimed at people who want to take nice pictures but don't really want to know how those pictures are achieved. Almost everything is designed to be automatic and intuitive, and there is some pretty...

I Admit It, I'm A Panasonic Loaf Lover!

Advantages: Gorgeous bread, easy to make, easy to use, cheap bread, healthier
Disadvantages: Initial outlay but worth the investment.

...We were bought a Delonghi bread maker for Christmas but found that when we opened it, it felt like a piece of cheap tat? certainly not something I'd have thought would be the case with a Delonghi product. I had a look on the Argos website and spotted that the Panasonic SD255 machine had a brilliant 5/5 star rating and was selling at £97.89 - only approximately £5 more than the cost of the Delonghi one, so we exchanged the Delonghi machine for the Panasonic one and are so glad we did; I shall proceed to tell you why. Firstly, it's so easy to operate? I was very apprehensive that I'd end up choosing the wrong settings thus making brick loaves that tasted awful or were completely inedible; it's for this reason that my first couple of loaves were made from shop bought bread mixes so that I'd have less chance of messing them up. Those...
