Advantages: Good communication, delivered on time as promised, prices pretty good
Disadvantages: Not free delivery. Delivery company didn't all they were supposed to.

...Really pleased with the whole process. This company wasn't the cheapest on price, partly because they don't do free delivery like some other companies (delivery cost £19.99), but they had the best reviews from other customers - much better than the companies selling it for cheaper. As you can tell from the company name, they sell kitchen appliances including dishwashers, cookers, hobs, fridges, freezers, coffee machines, washing machines and tumble dryers. We ordered a Neff Hob from them late in the evening on 8 November. The website confirmed delivery would normally be in 7 days. The confirmation email stated that someone would contact me within 48 hours to confirm the order and to arrange a suitable delivery date. Sure enough, the next day I had a phone call confirming the order and arranging a delivery date for one week...

Avoid Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Contemptuous attitude toward the customer and consumer protection laws

...Please do not order anything from Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances. We ordered a Zanussi washing machine and are now stuck with this faulty unusable machine, even though we paid extra for fitting and testing. When the machine runs it fills our apartment with the acrid smell of burning rubber. We reported this within 24 hours of our having received delivery of the machine yet Sainsburys will not replace it without first sending out an engineer (the earliest time the engineer will get to us is a full seven days after we reported the fault) who then will submit a report to them (Sainsburys), who will then contact Zanussi. It could easily be 3 weeks or more before we have a working machine. Surely, if a machine is reported as faulty within 24 hours of delivery, it should simply be replaced. Yes. That's the law, but Sainsburys don't see...

...Under no circumstances buy anything from Boots Kitchen Appliances. I bought a cooker online and was to have it delivered on a Saturday. They informed me of a 4 hour delivery slot on the previous day. It was to be delivered between 7am and 11am. I was called on 7am to inform me they were on their way. They arrived at 8am and got me out of bed. Then informed me they had a dishwasher instead of a cooker. I ask you!!! We arranged another Saturday and was informed two days before that they could not deliver. Arranged another Saturday and they did not turn up. Was not called with any explanation. On each occasion I had to compensate an electrician who I had retained to install it. I am now six weeks without a cooker and it is still ongoing. DO NOT BUY FROM BOOTS KITCHEN APPLIANCES....

...Never try to buy a domestic appliance from Boots on-line. They twice failed to provide the item ordered and offered compensation which never came. All told terrible service and hopeless customer relations. At the beginning of January I placed an order for a fridge freezer, A few days later I was phoned to say the item had been discontinued. On further checking I was told that this was not the case, but that I would have to wait three weeks for delivery. I waited; the evening before delivery was scheduled I was left a message on my mobile (not even the courtesy of a phone call to my home phone) to say the product was discontinued. Space Kitchens (Cost 15,000 with no appliances or even tiles!!)

Disadvantages: NEED TO REPLACE ALL WALL & FLOOR TILES AND STILL HAVE TO SUPPLY NEW APPLIANCES

...someone to fix this then replace all the tiles as the tiles that were previously there have either been removed by space kitchen or are 2 inches above the worktop! the floor has nothing on it and also this £15,000 does not include any appliances!!!!!!! How do these salespeople sleep at night??...

...As we are about to renovate out kitchen, we needed 6 new appliances (ovens, hob, hood, fridge-freezer & dishwasher). For one appliance we could not find the model we wanted on the Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances. For 4 of the other 5 appliances the prices from Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances were some of the best on the internet, thus we ordered these four from them. For those items with different colur choices, we could not make a colour choice on line. We ended up phoning, something I would have done anyway as I wanted to check whether they were in stock and whether they could deliver the following week. Ordering over the phone was very easy: 3 items were in stock and could agree there and then for a delivery the following week on a day of our choice. I Admit It, I'm A Panasonic Loaf Lover!

Advantages: Gorgeous bread, easy to make, easy to use, cheap bread, healthier

The fact that you can do so much with this bread maker other than just making normal bread is what really makes this bread maker so versatile and I find myself using it all the time, making different kinds of breads, dough and cakes. It's one of my favourite kitchen appliances, and one my fiancé thought we didn't need and wouldn't use; how wrong he was as it's been used loads since we got it and I see this continuing for the foreseeable future.
