A great feature-packed camera

Advantages: zoom range, image quality, HD video, size, scene modes

...Having owned a Fuji F10 (a compact point and shoot) I was used to camera with excellent low light ability. My reasons for replacing were mainly due to the limitations of the Fuji?s 3 times zoom range. Plus the fact I know a few people who have Panasonics, with long zooms, and I was jealous? So why the Panasonic? Aside from liking the photos I saw from my friend?s Panasonics I read a lot of good reviews. This particular camera seemed to have everything: a very long zoom range including wide angle; optical stabiliser; HD video (wasn?t sure if I wanted this at first); and compact size. Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7

The perfect backpackers camera

Advantages: Small enough to fit into your pocket but with a powerful zoom!
Disadvantages: must use specific battery

...I purchased the original DMC-TZ1 when it first came onto the market a few years back and thought it was a great camera. But this one is even better! The 9.1mp makes for a good clear shot and the 12x optical zoom is amazing! Its the perfect camera for travelling - it can fit into your pocket or a going out bag ensuring you always have a camera to capture every moment. The zoom is the perfect added bonus. The only downside as I see it is the battery must be a specific type which isnt compatable with many other cameras. Having said that the battery is good quality and lasts for ages once charged. Because the battery is so specific to purchase a spare (which I would recommend for anyone travelling) isnt the cheapest....

Advanced and good value for money digital camera

...I bought this camera from marks and spencers for £279.99. This camera is great due to all the features that it has. It has a great 12x optical zoom, which even at 9x or 10x zoom, the pictures look quite clear and well taken photos. It has a good image stabilisation feature which allows you to take photos even if the object of person is moving very fast. Its battery life is quite good compared to most ordinary cameras which allows you to take 250 photos on average. It is a 10.1 megapixel camera which has a very high number of pixels for each picture, and I can say this is definitely so when I upload my pictures onto my laptop as the pictures are VERY clear and they still look good when zoomed in by half the size of the picture....

SUPER LENSES!!!

Advantages: Clear vision, stablity, allows more oxygen to eyes
Disadvantages: Price

...I am so glad i found these lenses!!. I have tried at least five different toric lenses, these are by far the best. The vision is much clearer than any of the other lenses i tried and they hardly rotate compared to others. I would definetly advice to try these lenses, trial them for free from your opticians. When i first tried these lenses they felt weird on my eyes and a bit uncomfortable as they are a bit thicker than other lenses but after a couple of days my eyes adjusted to them and now i am over the moon that i have finally found a pair of lenses that i can see clearly out of and do not need to wear glasses in the daytime anymore ( i wear glasses only when i take the lenses out usually evening time) They are a bit costly but they allow more oxygen to the eyes compared to others....

Panasonic Lumix TZ6, Versatile compact with great image quality

Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7

...Having always been a bit of a cheap and cheerful camera buyer, I was a bit nervous spending nearly double what I'd usually spend on a camera. This camera has proved to be beyond value for money though! The Lumix DMC-TZ5 is a 9.1 megapixel, with a wide angle lens and boasts an awesome 10X optical zoom. It's also a remarkable easy camera to use, a lot of time has gone into setting up the intelligent auto function (which is the main setting you'll use), that means the camera works out what type of photo your taking, adjust for light and does pretty much everything a photographer does (all be it not to the same level of expertise) as you take the photo, meaning amazing shots ever time. With normal day to day contact lenses you are not suppose to keep them in during the evening time as there is not enough oxygen that would be getting transmitted to the eye. ...Here is my review on the best digital camera I have owned. I have previously owned around 4 other cameras over the last five years and this one beats all the others by a massive amount. I will start by describing the Panasonic DMC-FZ28. It looks in its appearance very similar to a DSLR albeit much smaller, it has the excellent hand grip on its right handside (just like an DSLR) and on top of this grip is the perfectly placed shutter release button. Obviously the DMC-FZ28 is no pocket sized camera, which you cannot expect with a camera that has an 18x zoom lens (I will cover this later and provide some pictures to show the awesome power and quality of the lens). Panasonic Lumix TZ6 - metal-bodied compact zoom

...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself!
