Paradise Lost (based loosely on John Milton?s poem). Now I like various styles of music, but I am a bit of a metal head, and that is exactly what Symphony X appeal to. In short, they are a power metal quintet. I am not saying it is pneumatic drilling all the way, oh no: they have a varied assortment of sounds from fast, to chunky, then to soft and melodic. There is a grand operatic sound to them too, as though their music could be the theme to Lord of the Rings or something similar. I think that sums it up briefly? Paradise is...?

Advantages: Quirky, surprisingly intriguing
Disadvantages: Not exactly a flattering portrayal of the Fins!

...quite similar in that it focuses on very ordinary people and their very ordinary lives. There is absolutely nothing outstanding about Nikander. Played by Matti Pellonpaa (who also starred in Tatiana), he is a greasy, lank-haired man who says very little - partly due to shyness, partly because he has nothing of interest to say. Yet, there is something about him that makes his predicament intriguing viewing. Perhaps it is the idea that this man could represent any one of us and, by seeing him finding his paradise, it gives hope to the rest of us. Whatever the reason, I found myself rooting for him all the way through the film. Not Quite The Island Paradise We Hoped For.

Advantages: Pristine beaches, clear seas, tropical fish.
Disadvantages: Mosquitos, humidity, some negative male attention, nothing to do per se.

I have a number of happy memories which I would like to share with you here. Firstly, not far from Apia is the Papasee'a Sliding Rock. We spent an enjoyable day swimming in these amazing pools and waterfalls, hidden amongst the rainforest and shaded from the sun. You can slide down the huge rocks on the waterfall water and straight into the pools which is great fun. We attracted a lot of attention here though as this is mostly a local spot, but this was harmless attention from the local youth. The beach we stayed on Upoli was deserted and beautiful, when the tide went out the reef is partly revealed and many colorful tropical fish can be seen just swimming about. ...I first discovered Berneray a few years ago during a 2-day trip to North Uist. We hadn't planned to visit, but the newly built causeway linking Berneray to North Uist persuaded us to explore. Islands of Adventrue a paradise of fun.

Advantages: Islands of Adventure is a Must See Experience!!!
Disadvantages: None.

...I found Universals Islands Of Adventure (IOA) to be a wonderful adventure. Every ride is an experience and the different areas of the park keep you interested all day. Admission is about $63 for IOA but I'd recommend getting a 2 Day 2 Park ticket for $107.90 as this will give you one day at IOA and one day at Universal Studios for a good discount. If you prebuy your tickets on the internet they're a bit cheaper too. The Park is made up of five 'Islands' (six if you count the market area at the gate). I'll take you through these one by one. Marvel Superhero Island: This was very cool. The first thing you see is 'The Hulk' roller coaster. What I'd recommend doing first though is 'Dr Dooms Fearfall'. This throws you 150 feet up a tower and then drops you. Great fun but the thrill isn't as great if you've just been on 'The Hulk...

Burnout Paradise, for the win!

Advantages: "Showtime" mode is awesome, amazing graphics, addictive, online function is awesome

...Burnout Paradise is a brilliant game, in my opinion, and is definately worth getting on PS3. Its extreem graphics and gameplay exceed the expectations of many. Throughout the game you can either be tidy and calm or release your inner destructive side and desroy other cars with a simple click of L1 and R1 to release "showtime" mode. With free updates such as, day and night time cycles, motorbikes and a customisable in game sound track... not alot can be at fault with this game. With the optional add-on of "Big Surf Island" for a meer £10 (which does sound alot at first but is deffinately worth it) you'llk have the time of your life. Burnout Paradise also holds the option of going online and free burning. Once online, you have access to over 500 challeneges to complete. Another element of fun is observing multiple mug shots...

Advantages: Friendly staff, good sized rooms, plenty to do
