It really does not have enough in the way of shopping to keep you occupied for 2 weeks !!! You can go into Playa De Las Americas, which costs about 5 Euro each way in a taxi. Norbreck Castle Hotel - Armish Paradise

Advantages: It has 18 wheeler in the arcade!
Disadvantages: It has secret communes of people hidden away...

...I'm laughing as I'm writing this, because I simply cannot believe what we've just experienced! We booked with National Holidays and were given The Norbreck Castle as a dwelling place! I got onto the net and couldn't believe my luck when I was presented with beautiful pictures of a fantastic castle with amazing facilities! We travelled down on the coach looking forward to our stay at this amazing castle! The coach arrived and my jaw quite simply hit the floor. It looks like an eastern european prison. The driver on the coach then announced, "Oh, and by the way folks, you can't check into your rooms untill 3pm!" Which was great, considering it was 10am. The Hinckley Island Hotel

Advantages: Great Service and made to feel special!
Disadvantages: Brasserie isn't the best

...The Hinckley Island Hotel is a great 4 Star Hotel. Easy to get to from the M6 or M69. Just get off J2 on the M69. I've stayed there many times now and have samples the services there. The staff are all very polite and helpful. They all greet you in and around the hotel and are always willing to help. The hotel is huge and luxurious. I've been lucky enough to have been upgraded from their Standard room's to their Suites twice in the 6 times i've visited the hotel. The standard rooms are exactly that, standard. Certainly acceptable by most and can be booked most weekends for around £55 which is great! The Suites are amazing! Made to be just like apartments they have a livingroom, bedroom and bathroom. Also the Suites have VIP packages inside so you get a fresh bowl of fruit and magazines, along with slippers and a robe...

...I went here about two years ago. From the moment we arrived it was amazing. After a 25 minute drive from the airport ( may be longer/ shorter at certain times of the year) we arrived at the hotel. We raced up to our rooms and found they were of a good size.( I advise 2 people to a room for extra comfort) It had all the stuff you needed. It had a tv , minibar, nice bathroom and everything else you would want. We then went down to the aquarium, restraunts and pools. I have been to seaworld and I would say this was better. It had a restaurant surrounded by shark tank on 3 walls, a slide than shot you through a shark tank, the chance to feed rays and turtles and lots of other rides. ...I was lucky enough to go to the Bahamas on holiday in April 2008. In our party there were 3 children and 3 adults. We arrived at the airport to be met by a limousine, we were driven to The Atlantis hotel on Paradise Island?wow what a place. We were able to have a good look round whilst in the Limo, the weather was beautiful and when we arrived at the Hotel, you could see why it was called Paradise!! The hotel was enormous; it had lots of different sections. There is the Royal Towers, Imperial club, Coral Towers, Beach Towers, The Cove Atlantis, The Reef Atlantis, Harbour side Resort, and Special. We stayed in the Coral towers. Our room was large with 2 double beds in. It had a full stocked bar, which was checked daily and re-stocked?..beware, very expensive! There was a large mirrored wardrobe and plenty of drawer space...

Paradis Park Hotel - Definitely NOT paradise!!!!

Advantages: Able to get it last minute, nice surrounding area

...It was pure chance that we stayed at the Paradis Park Hotel in Pineda De Mar. Whilst looking for a cheap and cheerful last minute deal to get some sun I spotted a package to the Calella Palace Hotel through Teletext holidays online. After a bit of research the decision was made to book it, however, the dates we wanted weren't available. We were offered an allocation on arrival for the same price, or for an extra £45 each we could have an alternative named hotel of the same rating. Being unadventurous I opted for the latter and was given the choice of the Alexis Hotel (I had previously read reviews all of which were bad) and the Paradis Park Hotel. Advantages: Real Chocolate with no nasty additives. Prompt delivery. Good discounts. Delicious.

...We visited Silver Beach Hotel on Mauritius in September 2001 on an all inclusive package holiday with Kuoni. For my wife this was a return visit as she had lived there with the Royal Navy 30 years ago. The whole experience was a delight from start to finish. The Silver Beach really is set right on the beach and comprises two kinds of accomodation. The main hotel is a 3 storey building, every room has a view of the sea and being on the east coast there is always a welcome breeze.
