...Myself and my boyfriend went to Thailand in October 2007, where we spent three nights in Bangkok and then a further 9 nights in Ko Samui. While we were in Ko Samui, we decided to hire out a Jeep so we were free to visit all the attractions we wanted to. One of these attractions was Paradise Park Farm. About Paradise Park Farm Paradise Farm Farm is located at the top of Khao Pom mountain and is set within tropical rainforest which makes for a lovely setting for this unique park. The park covers 20 acres and inside there are walking trails, picnic / resting areas, an infinity swimming pool, a restaurant, a souvenir shop and many different animals to see. Visitors to this attraction can take advantage of a guided tour round the park which is offered for free. However, we decided we would prefer to explore the park by ourselves...

A fantastic day out for all the family at Paradise Wildlife Park!

Advantages: Fantastic day out, Family Friendly, Good value for money and enjoyable for everyone!
Disadvantages: Near a very fast road with no proper crossing facilities when parked in the overflow carpark

Hotel Paradise Park, Tenerife - Great Base

Advantages: Good food
Disadvantages: Mega Hill

I would recommend you do this on a Thursday as there is a market that sells lots of t-shirts,A frican goods, handbags, jewellry, etc. Torviscas is definately a little bit more up-market than Los Cristianos. ************NEGATIVE*********** The hill that the Paradise Park sits on - only the very fit could walk up and down it !!! Easier option take a taxi as it's only 3 Euro oneway, and they are really easy to get. *********POSITIVE********** The spa complex next door is really peaceful. Great to pamper yourself in. ***********OVERALL********** Would I go again? Yes. I really liked this hotel. The room was great and the food was super. With both of those and a dose of sunshine, what more could you ask for....

Paradise in Broxbourne!

Advantages: Fun day out for everyone
Disadvantages: It's a bit tucked away

...to clean out their pool. :o) There is a wolf talk at 12.30 and 2.45 Then there is the Toucan house, with more different breeds of Toucans than I ever knew existed. There is a Lemur house and some Raccoons, some parrots that occasionally talk to you if they feel like it, Coatis, marmosets, Tamarins and some Porcupines. That?s it for the ?zoo? part?. It may seem that when reading that there is a lot of animal for a small zoo, but it is well spaced out and everything seems to have enough space to be happy in. Also it isn?t a hard place to walk around unlike some zoo?s or parks that I have visited where it seems that it is a maze and you walk around in circles for most of the day. Now we come to a separate part, The Birds of Paradise Section. This is tucked out of the way near the car park and is my youngest sons favourite place...

Paradise with Surprises

Advantages: Fun Family day out
Disadvantages: Having to walk through the shop to start with!

...For several years my family and I always enjoyed a yearly jaunt to St. Ives in Cornwall. Quite a trek from Slough believe me, especially with young children in the back of the car. On one particular holiday in St Ives, we weren't quite sure what the weather would do. Paradis Park Hotel - Definitely NOT paradise!!!!

Advantages: Able to get it last minute, nice surrounding area
Disadvantages: Food, Staff, Price, Other guests, the room....... everything else

...It was pure chance that we stayed at the Paradis Park Hotel in Pineda De Mar. Whilst looking for a cheap and cheerful last minute deal to get some sun I spotted a package to the Calella Palace Hotel through Teletext holidays online. After a bit of research the decision was made to book it, however, the dates we wanted weren't available. We were offered an allocation on arrival for the same price, or for an extra £45 each we could have an alternative named hotel of the same rating. Being unadventurous I opted for the latter and was given the choice of the Alexis Hotel (I had previously read reviews all of which were bad) and the Paradis Park Hotel. Getting up close and personal with wildlife

...Paradise Wildlife Park is situated in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. It is easy to get to by car (junction 25 off the M25) and is well signed up. The park have also set up a free shuttle service from Broxbourne train station to Paradise Wildlife park - just call the park when you arrive at the station and they'll come and collect you in a mini bus! The park is open all year round (March - October: 9.30am - 6.00pm. November - February: 10am - 5pm). Tickets cost £13.00 for adults, £10.00 for children (2-15 years), £10.00 for senior citizens, £7.00 for guests with disabilities, £22.00 for a family of 2 and £44.00 for a family of 4. Paradise Lost (based loosely on John Milton?s poem). Now I like various styles of music, but I am a bit of a metal head, and that is exactly what Symphony X appeal to. In short, they are a power metal quintet. I am not saying it is pneumatic drilling all the way, oh no: they have a varied assortment of sounds from fast, to chunky, then to soft and melodic. I fed the tigers by hand!

Advantages: Lots of big cats

...Last Christmas Dave bought me a fantastic present - the chance to feed tigers by hand! I am a full time carer to my mom who has Vascular Dementia and so he always tries to get something really special for me (bless him!) as I don't get chance to go out much. I have always loved the big cats so this was definitely a winner!! The experience would take place at Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire which was our first problem as we live in North Wales. Paradise is...?

Advantages: Quirky, surprisingly intriguing
Disadvantages: Not exactly a flattering portrayal of the Fins!

...quite similar in that it focuses on very ordinary people and their very ordinary lives. There is absolutely nothing outstanding about Nikander. Played by Matti Pellonpaa (who also starred in Tatiana), he is a greasy, lank-haired man who says very little - partly due to shyness, partly because he has nothing of interest to say. Yet, there is something about him that makes his predicament intriguing viewing. Perhaps it is the idea that this man could represent any one of us and, by seeing him finding his paradise, it gives hope to the rest of us. Whatever the reason, I found myself rooting for him all the way through the film.
