...Something of a departure for me in many ways is this one, after the semi disasterous year I enjoyed last year this 12 months of 2008 was marked down as clearing debts and enjoying myself time - how to achieve both being somewhat of an impossible balancing act. But the debts cleared up faster than expected so in early May I turned my head to the new target - having fun, lots of it. One of the forum sites I am a relatively active member of has pretty regular meet ups, and after deciding it was funtime the next was due to occur in Birmingham at some point during July, so in keeping with the fun but keeping out of debt ethos I went off to find some decent hotel bargains which werent going to cost me a fortune in beer tokens for a taxi. Paragon is a meat market!

Advantages: Great Location, Good food, reaonably prices

Advantages: Can't think of any! quick payout if i had to find one!
Disadvantages: charges, rates, repossessions and payments to name a few!

They are a sub-prime lender who specialise in secured loans with huge interest rates and payments to match. Many people who take a loan with this lender may not even need to be shopping around in the sub-prime sector of finance, but once they do they rarley settle the loan without incurring defaults, unneccessary charges and sometimes ccj's which insures they will be paying high rates for years until the high street lenders will even consider taking them back. I should never need to buy another

Skinhead Revolt is Awesome!

Advantages: Awesome music, less than obvious selection
Disadvantages: Only 20 tracks!

...from The Paragons, "Got to Get Away" and "Left With a Broken Heart". These rarer songs rub shoulders with better known classics such as "Dark End of the Street" by Pat Kelly and "Reggae Girl" by The Tennors. All in all it's a great mix of rocksteady, early reggae instrumentals and upbeat vocal gems - with or without the skinhead tag attached. You may find some of the tracks on here on other compilations or artists CD's, but it's a fantastic effort from Trojan. I'm sure compiling these sorts of albums is a hugely difficult job as there's so much great material to choose from with seemingly no real reference point, but they've done a great job here. Guild Wars Nightfall - Take Control

Advantages: Heros Are A Great Addition, Story Is Great, 2 Good New Professions

Wonderful airport!

Advantages: Very accessible, clean, comfortable

...I was so incredibly pleasantly surprised by the Madrid airport! With the city itself not being exactly a paragon of cleanliness and organisation, the airport was everything one could ask for in an airport -- very easily accessible from downtown (the new underground extension takes you right there, for very cheap, under £1, and even had flight information on the underground platforms); clean; comfortable (well, as comfortable as airports get). It is a very modern building, easy to find your way around, staff generally friendly, nice big washrooms. I even got to see a Real Madrid footballer there!...
