This worked very well for a while but at the end of last summer the parasol broke which meant that we were on the lookout for a new one. A friend of mine had an off-set parasol which I had previously admired so we decided to look for one of those. After shopping around for a while we found this 2.7m Off-Set Parasol with Crank Handle on the Robert Dyas website. It really appealed particularly as it was on a half price offer at £39.99 instead of £79.99 which seemed like tremendous value. Review of Robert Dyas Off-Set Parasol with Crank Handle

Monster in my parasol!

Advantages: Not just your average rock CD.
Disadvantages: Last song drags on for 8 mins 40secs.

...excellent buggy all round i lived in a town then moved to the country but it still served its purpose over the rough terrain . I also used this buggy with the mypod carrycot which was lightweight easy to fix to the buggy and made a very comfortable bed for baby when we were out visting no need to disturb a sleeping baby . Also there are lots of matching accessories for this pram cosytoes/ changing bag, parasol /sunshade the sunshade is excellent as it covers the whole seat unit not like the umbrella /parasols you have to keep moving those ones to cover baby but with this one u know baby is protected at all times , there are clips on handle bars to place changing bag so swinging bag between your bags as you are walking . buggy remained light and easy to push even with my 3 year old sitting it ....

Basic accomodation with fantastic views, Zodiac Apartments.

Disadvantages: Noise, no air con.

...Stayed in Zodiac Apartments in July 2009. On entering it was apparent that the accomodation was very basic, without any air con., which takes some getting used to, especially in July; however once out on the balcony, the view was breathtaking and the basicness of the apartment went out of the window, so to speak. Great place to sit with a glass of wine and look out to sea. Maid service was daily which was fantasic, clean bedding and towels. Apartments are attached to Jacaranda Beach Club, which is where the pool is situated. Pool quite good, however 5 euro for a sunbed and parasol. Also has it's own beach (small), sunbeds 3 euro with parasol. Quite a nice place to sunbathe, however not very good to swim here as quite rocky. 10% discount on food and drinks at beach club, although one cocktail cost 7 euro, which in my opinion...

Best of the Budget

...and make it look like new again. The car seat came with the automatic base which unfortunatley did not fit our car but after a few practices I can now fir the car seat with the seatbelt in about 30 seconds. it easily clips on to the buggy so you dont always have to disturb your baby when you get out of the car, very hand seeing as most babies always fall asleep in the car!! The pram is a bit bulky when folded down and we have to take the parcel shelf out of the car to fit it in the boot but it is on the other hand very easy to put down, especially with one hand as you normally have a baby in the other! It came with a range of coordinated accessories - change bag, rain cover and cosytoes and head support for the carseat, all of which you normally have to pay for. The only thing it dosen't come with is a parasol but as the pram hood is moveable...

...We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System after looking at everything on the market comparing costs, accessories, weight etc. This travel system was for my first child so I had no previous experience to help me. The whole concept of the travel system is revolutionary; my mom was so impressed. Having the car seat/infant carrier which effectively turns the buggy into a pram and also means that your baby who has fallen asleep in the car can be effortlessly moved into the buggy, is a marvelous invention! We bought the Graco fro Babies R Us in January 2005 for £190. It came with an auto base, weather shield, foot muff and changing bag (the only thing I have had to buy additionally is a parasol). The autobase is a brilliant idea. You fix it in the car once and the infant carrier just clicks in place. No messing around...

Still going strong after 14 months and counting!

Although at £80 it is probably not the cheapest on the market, I found it a lot more affordable than the more well-known names available in places like Mothercare.This price also included a change bag, rain cover and sun parasol. Suitable from birth, this buggy is still giving me plenty of use after 14 months. The only thing I have had to replace has been the sun parasol, but I had no trouble finding a cheap replacement to fit. The shopping tray can carry up to 20 lbs, I find it has no problems dealing with a bag or two of very heavy shopping! ...Brought this little shopper last year or my then 3 yr old on holiday. Great compactness so hardly noticed that we had an extra buggy in boot. As with any shopper very basic, no recline chair but chair does have safety harness. The waist straps to harness are attached to frame of buggy and as this buggy has quite a wide seat didnt fit very snuggly round our slim little man. (not that this caused a problem for us). No shopping basket but we brought one that hooked round the handles and it fitted buggy perfect. Im 5'8 and found I had to stoop a little for the handles. Easy fold just one pull in the middle and push to collapse. Easy to use brakes. Advantages: It's light! Option to use All Terrain Kit. Great looking travel system.
Disadvantages: Pushchair position doesn't lie flat. Basket difficult to access in pushchair mode.

Living on the 2nd floor we needed a travel system that would be easy to take up and down lots of stairs. Handles city centre well and does an average of 15km per week. Front wheel sheared off after 14 months but the pushchair was in use everyday. Now we have fitted the All Terrain Kit so it's a 4x4 super pumped up model. Large babies might outgrow carrycot before they're ready for pushchair position (we used until our baby was 5 months which was fine). Comes with rain protectors for pram and pushchair positions. We also bought the sun and bug protector, so much better than a parasol in my opinion. We'll be using this pram again for our second baby due later this year.
