...The Hotel The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style. The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre. I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming. The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest...

Grand Tour of LA!

Advantages: get to see lots in short space of time
Disadvantages: don't get much time in each place

We stayed in a Holliday Inn hotel near LAX, once we arrived here we found a brochure on VIP Tours and decided to go on what they call the most popular tour which was called the 'Grand Tour of Los Angeles'. It cost in American dollars $59 (adult) and $40 (child). One American dollar is roughly equal to roughly 0.6 United Kingdom Pounds. Advantages: Great rooms, great hotel!
Disadvantages: Expensive to eat in hotel

...I recently spent three nights in Paris and booked the hotel through the Euro star website along with my train ticket. In total the hotel cost me around £150 for the three nights for a double room. When I got there I asked if we could change to a twin room and we paid 45 Euros more to do this for the three nights, so the total I paid was around £195. I think this is a very reasonable price for a hotel in Paris, especially because this one was lovely. Firstly, it is located within the Marais area of Paris, which is very nearby the Picasso museum. It is a walk able distance down to the river and to the Louvre etc, however there is a metro station minutes away; Republic. From Republic you can catch the majority of the different metro lines, or you can catch it to a station which will allow you to connect to the line you need. The hotel...

Elysees Opera/America Opera Hotel - Paris, France.

Advantages: Location, Room Size
Disadvantages: Facilities offered were minimal.

...and Disneyland Paris. It is also in walking distance of Montmartre and Le Galleries Lafayette. I felt that our hotel was in a prime location making it easy for us to get around the city. Paris itself is a very noisy city; being the capital of France this should be expected. There is always a lot of noise around including during the evenings and at night time. The fact that our hotel was situated in such an area did not make it any better; this was clearly visible with our balcony doors open. However, the hotel offers soundproofed rooms, as standard to combat this noise, of which I will go into more detail later. Overall for the location I would give it a 9/10, we never struggled to find anything that we were looking for, apart from the hotel itself in the first instance. Disadvantages: Standard Rooms small, but hay that was our choice and your all the same at breakfast

...We have just returned from a Week-end in Porto. We were looking for a Hotel that had good location and some olde world charm, so this one seemed to tick the boxes. We booked it thru Octopustravel.com for £165 that being for a Double Room with Buffet Breakfast for three nights (About £27 per person per night B&B). Getting to the Hotel from the Airport can not be easier. You get the Metro from the Airport, you can not get on the wrong one as that is the start of the line, no changes necessary just stay on unti the BOLHAO stop (approx 25 mins) cost 1 Euro 85 Cents (purchase ticket from Tourist Info Booth in arrival hall, or if braver from the Ticket Machines in the Metro (Do have an English Button) for instructions. ...My husband and I have just gotten back from a trip to Las Vegas and chose the MGM hotel to stay at so this forms my review. The MGM is located right on the strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) right by Tropicana Avenue so fairly near one end of the strip. It is located close to the New York New York hotel and there is actually a walkway which joins the two hotels to give you easy access to both. The hotel in its present form was opened at the end of 1993. Most of the hotels in Las Vegas have a certain them that they like to promote through each of their casinos such at NY NY, Paris, The Venetian etc. The MGM in my opinion is not as heavily themed as the other hotels but follows along the lines of old Hollywood/California movies stars etc with the feature of the MGM lion and movie star photos in the bedrooms. ...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season.
