Park Lodge Guest House is situated in Hull, East Yorkshire, just off one of the main roads running from the town centre. Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast
Disadvantages: Expensive

...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made...

There was another similar rated hotel behind the underground station but it was reported to be very noisy and I thought a 10 minute walk from hotel to destination would be refreshing, which it was. This hotel is on a busy main road on the corner of a junction, but inside the big old building you were not really aware of this. Regents Park Marriott Hotel

Advantages: comfortable and clean

...I stay in Marriott Hotels regularly and have been doing so for the past ten years or so. They are always my preference and the Regents Park Marriott Hotel is always the Marriott that I prefer to stay in when I stay in a hotel in London. I have stayed in there quite a few times (not sure exactly how many) but up until this weekend I had never stayed in there with my family. I have stayed there for business, I have stayed there with friends when we wanted a big night out in London and now I've also stayed there with my family for a family weekend (including children) in London. On lastminute.com they have this promo called 'Top Secret Hotels,' this basically means that they tell you where you are staying in terms of location but don't tell you the name of the hotel until after you book. After looking for top secret hotels near me, I decided I would crack the system. There was a short description of the hotel on the website; some person had named the restaurant in the 'secret' hotel so I googled the restaurant and it came up with Chilston park. ...Royal Park Hotel When went her the year 2008 in August for 2 weeks. The first impressions of the hotel is, it look lovely and clean. Well I couldn't be more wrong. The hotel is nice, but it is very tired looking. It is situated on its own beach which is good, and they were always plenty of sun loungers, which was good considering the amount of people in the hotel. After a few days, I realised why. Paradis Park Hotel - Definitely NOT paradise!!!!

Whilst looking for a cheap and cheerful last minute deal to get some sun I spotted a package to the Calella Palace Hotel through Teletext holidays online. After a bit of research the decision was made to book it, however, the dates we wanted weren't available. We were offered an allocation on arrival for the same price, or for an extra £45 each we could have an alternative named hotel of the same rating. Being unadventurous I opted for the latter and was given the choice of the Alexis Hotel (I had previously read reviews all of which were bad) and the Paradis Park Hotel.
