...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made...

Riverbank Park Plaza - hotel is cheap and convenient for West End

Advantages: Cheap if you get a discount, very convenient for West End
Disadvantages: Rooms not ready, facilities that didn't work, requests that got lost, wrong keys for room

...The Riverbank Park Plaza is a mid-price four-star hotel located on London's Embankment, about 10 minutes walk (with heavy suitcase) from Vauxhall and 20 minutes from Waterloo. It is a comfortable hotel with plenty of lifts, which are definitely needed if you find yourself on the seventh floor. This is not a cheap part of the world to be staying in, and the prices here reflect that. However, if you book ages in advance, then you may be lucky like we were and find a special deal. We went here in July 2009 and the rooms cost about £80 per night. To get this deal, we booked several months in advance and found a special offer which was valid if we booked two consecutive nights. park plaza hotel - leeds

Advantages: easy to find, near to everything, little bit of luxury
Disadvantages: none

...i stayed at the park plaza for a night a year ago with my boyfriend. it isn't the cheapest in leeds, but you get what you pay for! it's really easy to get to, straight across from the train station, and near all the nightlife, shops and resteraunts. we didnt go to the resteraunt in the hotel, but the bar was pretty good, expensive as you'd expect though. the room was great!!! all black & white, really big bed, nice posh bathroom with a really deep bath. lots of wardrobe space too. the staff were nice but very trendy, looked like they should be hairdressers or working in topshop. overall it was really nice, and worth the money. definately recommended, especially if you're there for a few days...

Princess at the Plaza

Price: £300 (inc. full breakfast) Situation: The Plaza is situated in the centre of Cardiff, just one street away from the main shops and 3-5 minute walk from the main clubs and pubs. When driving to the hotel, I found it easily accessible but was a little disappointed that the car park was not attached to the hotel. It wasn't very dignified having to haul my suitcase across the main road! Plus, car parking was charged at an extra discounted rate. ...I stayed at the Park Plaza Hotel in Leeds in August 2006 simply for one night, as a little luxury and a change of scenery. We chose the Park Plaza as it was quite affordable for the little bit of luxury that it offers in comparison to other hotels in Leeds. The hotel is located on Boar Lane in Leeds which is simply across the road from the train station, so its location is great for commuters or people on an overnight stay in Leeds, as it is also down the road from the bus station and there is also a bus stop at the train station that goes all the way to Leeds Bradford Airport. The hotel is about 20 storeys high, located over the "Manias" - Wokmania, Spicemania and Pizzamania, as well as bar Scene and Chino Latino which are attached to the hotel and I assume part of its amenities. Plaza Regency Hotel in Sliema in central position

Advantages: Easy access to public transport and sea front promenade
Disadvantages: cramped and slow lifts

...The Plaza Regency hotel, Sliema is situated at 251 Tower Road, or as the local street signs put it Triq it-Torri. It is seperated from its sister hotel The Plaza, by a road Triq San Frangisk. The two hotel are connected together by a bridge six floors above the street. This sounds weird but works quite well. The two hotels share a dining room which is on the sixth floor of the Plaza, and share a swimming pool which is on the roof (seventh floor) of the Plaza Regency. Both hotels have several steps to climb to get from street level to Reception and in my opinion would be awkward for someone of limited mobility. Once inside, the reception area is spacious and has arm chairs and a TV. The staff here speak good English and are helpful. Both hotels have lifts which are in my opinion both slow and cramped. Park Plaza Astrid - A lovely place to stay

Advantages: Luxurious, accomodating and friendly staff, family friendly, excellent location

...a nice feel to them you can feel the build quality in the rooms the beds are comfortable the desk is made from oak tree they look and feel great. One thing that I usually find with hotel room bathrooms is that they are small and in fact too small I feel like I don?t have enough space to stand in them and that it cannot be comfortable. However the bathrooms in the Crowne Plaza are perfect they just look beautiful and posh. I had enough space to stand around; I had space to put my clothes and enough room to shave without banging into the mirror I guess you can get my point.
