...pm and got dinner at 8.15 whilst someone went out to buy the chips to cook. The pool which is the selling point of the holiday does not work and has not been working for couple days, why were we not informed of this on our booking and given the option to book in at another resort??? Secondly we were sent to Shurland Dale on Saturday to swim, to our surprise after waiting for half hour there was no lifesaver. The cups in the caravan were so badly stained that I wouldn't even let my dog drink from it, just makes me wonder how clean those caravans are. Our Caravan ran out of gas on Sunday night we phoned security and no answer, but that was no surprise. With three kids that had been promised to swim and be entertained by Spark'y Club what a disappointment for them. The park itself was dirty lots of dog mess and dirt laying around. Just...

Park Resorts Cayton Bay

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Shabby caravan, shabby facilities, rude staff

...I booked a holiday with Park Resorts at Cayton Bay. On the website there are pictures of their accomodation and a description of activities and facilities avaialble. Having looked at the pictures and choices of static caravans and activities available on the date we wanted to go, we decided on the silver option. So we arrived looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday. Unfortunately that isn't what we got. The caravan was small, the carpets were dirty and weren't fitted properly. The kitchen was dirty, as was the seating and eating areas. It was also crawling with spiders and earwigs. You were unable to go in the second bedroom as it had 2 fitted beds and no room to walk in. There was a hole in the floor of the master bedroom which made the room extremely cold, there was no hot water or heating, which was due to the fact that there was...

Lets talk Customer Service, not about the Park

Advantages: This company is certainly on top of its game
Disadvantages: The actual park was not somewhere I would stay again

...Those of you who know me around Ciao will also know that it was just one week ago that I was returning from a trip to Yarmouth with friends, and now I am milking that holiday experience for every last review that I can. This is of course a very important matter though, because booking the holiday can be one of the hardest parts of the whole saga. So who did we book with? Park Resorts of course. In this day and age there was never any doubt that the holiday was going to be booked over the internet, due to the fact that this generation is the computer generation and of course the internet loves taking business away from the high street chains. Park resorts- a great holiday !!

Advantages: Great value for money, very friendly.
Disadvantages: None that i can think of!

...We have just returned from a weeks holiday with Park Resorts,which i fully recommend to any family! We visted the Brynowen site, which is in Borth,Wales, for the 2nd year running! Accommadation -------------------- This comes within three levels of accommadtion, bronze,silver,and gold. We had a silver caravan last year, but wanted a 3 bedroomed caravan this year, so had to settle for a bronze caravan! All caravans come with standard fittings,fridge,built in cooker, kettle , cutlery and plates,all cooking utensils,free gas and electricity(so no extra charges!),tv,one quilt and one pillow per person!(Although we bought all our own bedding with us!) Pollentia Club resort - a great place to stay

Advantages: Quiet, friendly, everything you could want in one resort, great pool
Disadvantages: Outside of Pollenca so difficult to go out in the evenings

...My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pollentia club resort, which is situated between Puerto Pollenca and Puerto Alcudia last summer. It's a really lovely resort with a nice relaxed family atmosphere, and has everything you could want from a holiday on site. It has two large swimming pools (one is particularly impressive!)., tennis courts, squash courts, mini golf, table tennis, 2 restaurants and daytime and evening entertainment. All the staff are fluent in English, Spanish and German, so you have no worries if you speak no Spanish. The all you can eat breakfast and evening buffets are excellent, but you do have to pay extra for any sort you drink with your evening meal. ...up to scratch. Security was a joke - security staff hanging about bar area and arcades just interested in checking out teen talent and talking to mates. Girl in shop very nice though. Park Resorts advertise the fact that they have invested so much money into its sites - but obviously not Brynowen. Would not go there again and wouldn't really recommend it....

...I was looking forward to my stay at plush four star Cable Beach Club Resort in Broome, Western Australia. According to their advertising material, I could expect Asian serenity and Colonial Indulgence. It sounded great and friends had recommended it as a very pleasant place to stay. In total, I spent three nights here. Because it was included in a coach tour package that I'd booked, I didn't make a booking specifically for the hotel itself. However let it be said that the room rates vary. I saw one website (discoverwest.com.au) which was offering rooms from $A155 (incl breakfast) plus a free camel ride, but other quotes elsewhere were much more than this.
