5 Star Budget Parker
Advantages: Cheap, Parker, Quality
Disadvantages: Mine looks unprofessional, MArks through the paper
...I seem to have recently started my own Parker fan club having owned 4 pens in the last few months, I'll admit it's the vector rollerball that's been getting the most use from myself. Costing just £1.99 from the works when I got it, the pen has a ?street map? graphic across the barrel which seems rather childish but yet likeable, even more so when you realise you're getting a Parker at that sort of a price. It's not the most professional of the Parker's out there, pens like the jet black M2 are much more ?business? modelled than this one but it's hard not to like it's charm even if it does look more like it'd feel at home in a 13 year old girls pencil case. The pen, as all Parker's with lids seem to have, posses a metal ?butt? to place the lid on when the pen is in use.
When compared to other Parker pens it's incredibly light, mainly...

The epitome of stylish reliability: The Parker Jotter
Advantages: Strong, Reliable, easy to use, hard to break, can be refilled
Disadvantages: No that i can think of
...In my opinion there?s no better pen then the full metal Parker Jotter.
Sit on it, stand on it, drop it or bite it ? this bad boy has never broken on me.
Easy to use [it?s a pen?], it looks stylish in any setting from the classroom to the boardroom.
The click design means there?s no lid to lose, the Achilles heel of most ballpoints, and thanks to some smart thinking the click mechanism has been encased into the top half of the pen meaning you won?t have small pieces of plastic and springs rolling around your desk on those less productive days.
Refills are easy to come by, which makes pen that little bit more environmentally and economically friendly.
Whilst these pens do retail from between £6 - £10 it?s well worth the investment. I?ve had my Pen for years, and there?s no doubt in my mind that without it I?d have spent...

"Parker, take off my dress" . .
Advantages: Easy to use.
Disadvantages: Some editions not listed.
.... .
Parker's, I know that name, is it the Chauffeur of Lady Penelope? I wonder, you know the story, "Parker" says Lady P, "Take off my dress" "Yus M'lady" - "Parker, take off my bra" - Yus M'lady" - "Parker, take off my panties" - " Yus M'lady" - "And Parker, if I catch you wearing them again you are fired". OK - no it isn't that one, but it may well have been.
The idea of the publication is simple, various companies, hopefully independant ones, produce price guides, based on the going rate for pretty much every car, van, and motorcycle. Some of these are for the trade only, but this one is made for Joe Public.
As well as the book, they also do a website, this is a good site to look at before buying the book. The web site layout is very simple, you check the car you are interested in, look up the spec, (Yes, all that is in...

Dont Bull im armed with Parkers.
Advantages: Can find you a real bargain
Disadvantages: Pricey, only published monthly.
...When I was buying a used car I was almost %100 relying on this magazine to steer me into finding a good deal, “ more car for your money”. As I was using older cars I was going by the older cars Parkers Guide that my opinion is going to be based on today.
Advertisements.
These are kept to a minimum there are exactly 3 pages of advertisements which is far from many. Some of the advertisements can be help as they are based on motoring e.g. so called ‘ low cost loans’ and ‘parts and labour mechanical insurance’.
Index.
On page 3 each there is an index with each manufacturer with the page number to find certain cars quickly. Most of the cars only have a few pages so it’s easy to find most. Personally I don’t bother with the index as all the pages are in alphabetical order...

Parker's Guide, So Very Useful
Advantages: Highly Informative. Very Useful. A great guide

Khyam Vector PoP Up Tents.
Advantages: So auick & easy! Saves you getting wet when others are still constructing...
Disadvantages: None that I can think of!
...The Mutts Nuts!
These things go up & down in minutes (or at least the 2 man vector does!) stand up to all sorts of weather (I've used mine in a hailstorm in gale force winds in Biarritz!!) & they are pretty light.
They also came in all shapes & sizes which are variations on the basic Dome.
When new you just fix the inner inside the Fly & that's where it stays, the tent is almost free standing when the poles are locked straight although like all tents it is important to stratch the peg rubbers when anchoring it down & apply the Guy lines if expecting rough weather.
Even with the Guys in place this tent only uses 12 pegs!
I've been touring on a mountain bike with one in France numerous times & the simplicity when you have to keep putting up / taking down is great.
Mine's also made from a ripstop nylon, which helps when it...

Phil Parker's Lightning Process
Advantages: Gives youback the power to choose
Disadvantages: Needs an open mind and hard work
...Phil Parker's Lightning Process.
Most people who have had contact with ME/CFS and many who have not will have heard about the "Lightning Process". It has a somewhat controversial buzz about it, so what is it all about?
ME/CFS is one of those illnesses that no one seems to know really what it is, for a long time it was called 'yuppie flu' and was seen as just a high-flyer who got lazy, but a few years back Liam Donaldson - the then head of the NHS actually admitted that ME/CFS was very real and that we (the NHS) had been letting people down for a long time, and this had to change. The government promised a lot of money for research into the causes and the treatment and cure of ME/CFS, there was much joy and celebration in the ME community. Since then not a lot has happened. There has been a growing pressure to identify ME/CFS as...

Suunto Vector Black Negative face
Advantages: Light weight, good features if calibrated properly. Rugged.
Disadvantages: Quite big, but it does do a lot to be fair!!!!
...Spent some time looking for a good outdoor watch with Altimeter, Compass and Barometric Pressure etc.. The Vector hits all those and so far seems pretty accurate. The compass once calibrated properly is accurate to within 3-5 degrees, one nice feature is the levelling bubble on the face that allows you to get a more accuarte reading. A big watch in terms of circumferance but really light weight you will not notice it on your wrist after a few minutes.
The Altimeter is pretty good but you do need to update it quite regularly, the best way to do this is to put the height in to the Altimeter, being one of the older watches in the suunto range it doesn't have the function as some of the newer one s do of being able to freeze the altimeter mode when at home and leave it in Barometer mode and then switch to Altimeter when out hiking, but i...

Choose your car with parkers.
Advantages: free impartial advice available online
Disadvantages: none
...So you want to buy a new car, well maybe a second hand one where do you turn for advice? Are your friends car buffs?
I was considering what to buy when I asked a friend. Although he knows his cars he told me to buy a Parker’s Guide for advice.
As I am an internet addict I decided to search on the web and low and behold I found Parker’s Online. I was amazed at what it had to offer me.
The first thing I did was to see what cars I could choose. I clicked on the button saying choosing and selected Help Me Choose, and it did. It asked me a few easy questions like how much I want to spend, what features are important to me and what type of car I want and a short while later it gave me a list of cars to choose from. I then looked more closely at the cars of interest, what different models are available and then...

Calling all nosey parkers
Advantages: Packed with loads of infor
Disadvantages: None
...For anyone who is intending to purchase a new or used car I would wholeheartedly recommend buying Parkers Used & New Car Chooser. This magazine is produced every couple of months and costs £3.30. A bit steep you might be thinking, but you get a lot for you money, believe me.
This magazine is an essential guide to finding the right car and reviews every popular model. It contains a used car buyer's checklist, giving you a detailed list of what you should do if you see a car in the newspaper that you think you might like.
Firstly: Phone Up
Questions to ask:
"Tell me about the car?" - check that the details tally with the ad
"Is there a full service history?"
"How long is the MOT?"
"Any accident damage?"
"Can I drive the car?" (You may need to arrange your own insurance cover)
Be polite, but don't bother to view if you...
