...I am writing a review on the DVD Music & Lyrics. I bought this DVD yesterday after watching it a few months ago.I love Drew Barrymore acting. So i bought it as i do with most of her films. ...Music and Lyrics is a romantic comedy released in 2007 starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore as the two main characters Alex Fletcher and Sophie Fisher. I have (like with most films I write about!!!) wanted to watch this film since it was out in the cinema, the trailers made it seem like a great rom-com and a wonderful feel good movie. Kona Cowan Frame Review. Light, strong and lovely to ride.

Advantages: Excellent lightweight and bomb-proof frame. Strong durable components.
Disadvantages: Slightly pricey with mid-range components.

...In 2006 I purchased a 2005 Kona cowan frame that i could custom build. This review is based on my experience on using the frame rather than the full bike supplied by Kona. Despite this I can comment on the specification and value for money of the full bike. The best feature of this bike is certainly the frame, retailing at around £499 alone. The components on this bike are chosen based on there performance as jump bike components. Taking into account what this bike will be used for, all the components are strong and durable. The more you pay for bike components, the lighter and more efficient they become without sacrificing any strength. The components on this bike are fairly average when compared to the quality of the frame. Therefore I think the bike is a touch over priced at £1000 rrp, but certainly worth the money. ...I wanted to see this film at the cinema but never got round to watching it, therefore I recently decided to rent the DVD. This film revolves around an British 80s pop star called Alex Fletcher (Huge Grant) who was in a successful band called 'POP'. The band broke up after the lead singer left to go onto create a successful solo career. Although Alex tried to go solo his album did not do nearly as well as his other band mate. The film shows Alex living in New York and performing his 'POP' songs at 80s concerts in theme parks and reunions. Alex is then asked to write a duet for himself and an up and coming young singer called Cora Corman (modelled on Britney Spears and Christine Aguilera). ...One of the TVs in my house has just been replaced, we was lucky enough to get a deal on the Samsung PS50b451 instead of it costing around the £700 asking price a friend of ours used her staff discount and along with some vouchers, the TV cost us around £350 which is brilliant for what it is. bit of a bargain actually. Life-like but not Lyrical

Advantages: Strong performances from the young leads and confident direction.
Disadvantages: Has some soapy exposition and is very predictable.

There are plenty of familiar faces from TV (ranging from "The Bill" to "Hollyoaks"), including ex-Eastender Robbie Gee as Danny's boss Schooly and some really big personalities in the club scenes. The soundtrack runs through the usual roll-call of urban music styles, including scratch, rap, hip-hop, R 'n' B, urban beats, dub and reggae. Though it's competently presented, it isn't high-gloss, over-produced ear candy. Much of it retains a raw edge, especially the raps from the competitions. ...one of their perfumes most days. Lyrical comes in a 50ml bottle and is priced at £10, although you can often buy their perfumes on offer. The bottle is glass, with a plastic lid, and quite an ergonomically friendly design. A number of mix and match products are available in this fragrance allowing you to layer your scent for a long lasting effect. You can also buy a body spray, bath & shower gel and skin softener. There does not seem to be a talc available at the moment though, as with some of their other fragrances. From my experience, all of Avon's fragrances have a long lasting scent. I find that if I apply a quick spray of perfume in the morning, I can still smell it late afternoon, so they are good value.
