Passion Fruit Lip Butter

...I'd been wanting to try one of the Body Shops lip butters for ages before finally giving in and shelling out £5 for the Passion Fruit version a few weeks ago. The Lip Butter comes in a cute little plastic pot, the one I have being purple with pictures of passion fruits on the lid. It's a 10ml pot which doesn't sound like a lot, but for a lip product it's actually a fairly large amount. It contains passion fruit seed oil to moisturise, and melon seed oil to condition, and the Body Shop claim that it will add wow to your pout by conditioning as it smoothes. As it's in pot form you just apply it to the lips with your fingertips. The first thing that hit me when I opened the pot was the delicious scent. It smells, unsurprisingly, of passion fruit. The lip butter is a pale pink colour and it has a soft smooth buttery texture...

SMELLS LOVELY AND FAKE BAKE'S PASSION FRUIT POLISH IS A MUST

Advantages: It smells completely exotic and gorgeous, sweet, fruity, refreshing fragrance of Passion Fruit!

...I bought two of these as they are so gorgeous and smell delicious. The polish is gentle, and is perfect when used with fake bake! The moisturiser you don 't need as the Fake Bake has in-built moisturisers and you don't want to apply a barrier to the skin or you will wash off the fake bake. This polish looks great on your bathroom cabinet, with its exotic looking packaging and the fact it is bright Orange means it stands out from the other head and shoulders shampoos on your bathroom shelf. It smells completely exotic and gorgeous, sweet, fruity, refreshing fragrance of Passion Fruit !! It IS certainly a very unusual fragrance. Using it is very user-friendly. ...Passion fruit, or Passiflora edulis, is an exotic fruit grown in warm climates. It is of a very dark purple appearance and looks similar to a large fig. Whenever I go shopping I always have to check out the reduced section. Last week while in Tesco, I noticed a pile very strange looking fruits. Initially I thought they were figs but upon closer inspection I realised that they were passion fruits. I had tried passion fruit once before but couldn't remember much about it so thought I'd grab one while they were cheap (35p). My son immediately turned his nose up at it, quite understandable though - they are not the prettiest of fruits! It stood on my kitchen counter until the next evening when I thought that I'd better try it as I had a low date on it. I'm usually terrible for leaving things until they are past their sell by date...

All the orange juice (so 75 per cent of the product) is Fairtrade-sourced in Cuba. I'm not a big fan of grapefruit juice but I did find that the combination works well - it's very sharp and refreshing, like normal orange with an edge. Like most of the juice you buy in cartons claiming to be fresh, it's actually made from concentrate. But it tastes just fine, so that didn't worry me at all. There are three flavours in the fruit passion range, so if you like grapefruit even less than me, you might want to try the pure Orange or the tropical juice instead.
