..., if I can manage to turn out a meal that is palatable then that's fine by me. I enjoy to hook about the inside of my fridge and find left over bits and bobs to throw into my pan. It's not that it's awful,and it's even okayish for my palete;but for an authentic recipe,a bit of you know,tarting up,contribution and sweat will need to be added, to satisfy my anglo-itallian family. With a little fresh onion,garlic and parmesan cheese fresh from the local (and hideously expensive but incomprable delicatessan shop)it's lovverrlly! ...Dolmio have been around for several years now and provided the UK with their great tasting sauces for pasta. They started off with the traditional Bolonaise sauce and since then have developed their products to a much wider variety. You can now by stir in sauces, sauce for Lasangne and their is a new one we tried the other night called sizzling chicken. ...I am always on the look out for something quick and tasty to eat, that is not going to be too unhealthy and which will at least slightly satisfy hunger cravings, particularly on a nightshift where it can often be a huge temptation to pick at unhealthy things. I have tried all manner of products however would swear by Batchelors Pasta n Sauce. I have tried several varieties of this product however have decided that the tastiest version is Mild Cheese and Broccoli flavour. This is no substitute for proper home-cooked meals I hasten to add, however it is useful as a quick snack which is exceptionally easy to prepare. I was fed up of adding in my own cheese, ham and salad cream to make my own sauce so decided to find something in the supermarkets to try over it. I found the pasta sauces aisle and the Dolmio Express Tomato and Basil Pasta sauce caught my attention so decided to try it. Packaging This pasta sauce comes in a packet which has a rounded base so will stand up. It has a bright red border all around the edges and the top half is bright green with the Dolmio logo in white lettering with red outline. Underneath this it has the flavour written which in this case is 'sun ripened tomoato and basil' it also tells you it's a pasta sauce and serves one. Spaghetti, Dolmio Sauce, and hey presto.. food.

Advantages: Delicious, Wonderful, Spaghetti Bolognese.
Disadvantages: Get moaned at because i could eat Spaghetti Bolognese everyday LOL.

...myself, and i love it, as i have stated before. When you do taste it, the tomatos are very apparant, as well as is the tomato puree, you can taste these 2 ingrediants more than most in the original. The onions are very apparant as well, the crunchyness of them as you start to let the taste buds meet the food is awesome. Dolmio pasta sauces are there for a reason, that reason being so we do not have to go through the process of buying all the ingrdients, slicing them, peeling them and then merging them all together. Sometimes yes, i do admit i like to make my own, as you can put in whatever you like, and if it taste aweful, you have no one but yourself to blame, but to be honest, if you have worked all day, and you fancy a simple meal, with not much effort, and ready in 20 minutes, then you do not have to look much further than this...
