Jean Paul Got To Have!

Advantages: Great long lasting smell, nice bottle

...I was bought this aftershave for Christmas this year by my girlfriend. I liked it so much; I thought I would share my opinion of it with Ciao. Packaging Jean Paul Gaultier 'Le Male' comes in a silver tin with the 'Jean Paul Gaultier' label embossed on the front. You can pull the bottom of the tin off, and the bottle of aftershave sits in a stand on the base, which is attached to the base of the tin. Inside the top section of the tin is a white plastic section which holds the top of the bottle square inside the tin, once the bottle is back inside which stops it from rattling around and possibly being smashed inside. The bottle itself is typical of Jean Paul Gaultier aftershave and comes in their famous body shaped bottle. This particular bottle is in the theme of a sailor. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. I have had these black seed trays a year or two now You can buy a pack of 8 quite cheaply at B&Q they cost £1.98 for 8 trays, that?s just less than 25p each. Size~~. These seed trays are Length (cm): 37.5 /14.8in, Width (cm): 23/ 9.1 in depth 5cm/2in. This is a fairly standard size for a seed tray quite a good size really. Material~~~ These are made of a thin but rigid black plastic. Drainage~~~~ There are a number of small holes punched into the bottom of these seed trays Durability~~~~ These trays are strong enough to last several years with several sowings. You do need to care of them though storing them stacked together for next year. The plastic is fairly easy to tear...

From seed to flower

Advantages: Great illustrations. Teaches about the life cycle of a seed.
Disadvantages: Not for pre-school children as longer than Carle's usual stories.

...I use this book with Reception and Year 1 children to teach them about the life cycle of a seed and the seasons and weather conditions associated with each season. ~ The story ~ It is all set in the present tense (which is the only element of this that I'm not overly keen on) The story begins in: Autumn ~ when the strong wind blows flower seeds and carries them in all different directions. Amongst all of the seeds there is one tiny seed and the question is poised as to whether it will be able to keep up with the others. It tells of all the hazards faced by seeds, e.g. landing on an icy mountain, falling in to the ocean, landing in the desert where it never rains, being eaten by a bird!
